It could be that location in a film or that cult dialogue that becomes an anthem or even something on the radio that is so catchy that even after days, you find yourself repeating the same thing again and again. The media industry in India is huge, with diverse opportunities. No wonder we find people so drawn towards it. There are all kinds of jobs here - big & small, basic and technical. Some of them are hands on full-time jobs, hectic to the core, while some are short stints that require a specific talent & skill-set. Nowadays hundreds of TV channels are mushrooming every year, and these channels need skilled and attractive anchors to host various entertainment, devotional or exclusive stories related programmes. If you are good at communication and have the attractive appearance, you can give this a shot. Proper facial expressions and body language are essential to excel in this career. The salaries offered to an anchor are pretty decent to start a career with. However, as you grow, chances of flourishing become brighter based on your talent.

Radio Jockey:-

Are you a good speaker? Are you able to attract others with your talks? If yes, you can become a Radio Jockey (RJ). There are various radio stations which bare being aired across different states of the country. To become an RJ, you should have a good and appealing voice. Physical appearance does not play any role in this field. To put it simply, a person who is regarded as chatterbox will excel in this area. Radio Jockeys can earn enough to manage their expenses on a routine basis. Also, there are greater opportunities that are highly paid, as and when you grow in the field and gain necessary experience.

Assistant Director:-

Being a Karan Johar is not easy. Besides being immensely creative, you need to have years of training and work experience on a film set. The ideal way achieve that is to do an internship or work under a Director as an Assistant Director. The salaries offered in this field are comparatively less than the jobs mentioned above. But the amount of knowledge and learning that you will achieve is unparalleled. And it's just a matter of time before you get that big break to establish yourself as a talented Director.

Junior Artist:-

Junior artists play a significant role in sequences that require a crowd. For you to have a screen presence, the role of a Junior Artist is an option. It is, however, a part of the struggling days in the industry, but you never know when you are noticed enough for a mainstream role!

Television Serials Script/Dialogue Writer:-

If you are good at writing and have creative skills, you can be a script or dialogue write for various serials. Nowadays there is demand for a script writer. The salaries paid to a script writer is attractive. However, creativity plays an important role to excel in this field.
