JEE Main 2026 Session 2 exam will be held by the NTA from April 2 to 8, 2026, and Chemistry is anticipated to remain the high-scoring part for well-prepared aspirants. Following the trend of Session 1 & prior years, it is assumed that questions will cover Physical, Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, however, weightage is well-balanced yet predictable. Important chapters like Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Structure of Atom, Classification of Elements and Periodicity, Chemical Bonding, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Redox Reactions, Hydrocarbons, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetic, p - Block, d and f-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds, Haloalkanes, Alcohols, Aldehydes, Amines, Biomolecules, and practical chemistry-based chapters are likely to hold water of importance. Students are advised to focus on ncert based revision, reaction mechanisms, application of formula and regular mocks to score high.
