 The Karnataka seat allotment NEET UG 2025 result list will be released by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in July 2025. The Karnataka NEET seat allotment will inform the students about their All India Rank, course code, college/course name, allotted category, course fee, and status.

Karnataka NEET Seat Allotment 2025 is expected to be out by July 2025 by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore. This seat allotment list will be released based on the choices filled by students during the choice-filling process. Other factors like NEET rank, students’ category, and seat availability are also involved in deciding the colleges to be allotted.

The NEET UG 2025 Exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, and its results are likely to be released by June 14, 2025. Once the results are out, the state-wise counselling will be conducted. The Round 1 Karnataka NEET Counselling 2025 will be held once the merit list and cutoff are out. Students whose names have appeared on the allotment list will be invited to visit the allotted college for physical document verification and confirmation of seats in the college.

Step by Step Karnataka NEET Seat Allotment Process 2025

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) releases the seat allotment result on its official website. Check out the pointers below to understand the sequence of events that occurred before and after the release of NEET Seat Allotment 2025 in Karnataka.

  1. Registration : After the NEET UG 2025 Result is released, KEA releases an official notice regarding the commencement of Karnataka NEET Counselling at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  2. Choice Filling Process : Students are required to fill out their preferences for courses and colleges during the choice-filling process. If students fail to submit the choices in the Karnataka NEET 1st round seat allotment, the allotment is done directly by the counselling committee.
  3. Seat allotment Result : The Karnataka MBBS and BDS Seat Allotment is released on the official website based on the preferences submitted by the students during the filling process. The allotment lists consist of the names of the student, their NEET rank, names of the allotted courses and colleges.
  4. Reporting at the Allotted Colleges : The deadline to report to the allotted college is released on the same day as the Karnataka NEET 2025 seat allotment list. Students must report to the allotted colleges with original copies as well as photocopies of the important documents required for counselling.
  5. Confirmation of Admission : Once all the documents are verified, students are required to pay the admission fee. With this, admission to Karnataka MBBS/BDS colleges is confirmed.

Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka NEET Seat Allotment 2025

  • Educational Qualification : Applicants must pass class 10th and class 12th from schools in Karnataka. It is not specific to the educational board; students from any higher secondary board of education can apply for Karnataka NEET MBBS/BDS admissions. Students must study in Karnataka Government School for at least 7 years.
  • Parents Qualification : Either one of the parents must have studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years.
  • Language : Either the student or their parents must have a domicile certificate of Karnataka. Also, it is mandatory for either the student or the parent must speak Kannada/Tulu/Kodava.

Seat Surrender Process for Karnataka NEET Seat Allotment 2025

In many cases, students might decide to surrender or cancel the seat allotted during the allotment process. This can be achieved before the choice-filling process for the second extended round. An amount of INR 5000 will be deducted from the fee submitted, and the rest of the amount will be refunded.

The complete fee will be forfeited if the students who have been allotted seats in the 1st or 2nd round of Karnataka NEET counselling do not report to the allotted college. The fees will also be forfeited if the candidate surrenders the seat after a second extended round of counselling. The cancellation of seat allotment in Karnataka NEET 2025 will not be allowed if documents such as bank challan, admission order, verification slip and green card are not returned.

After the K arnataka NEET result 2025, the Karnataka seat allotment NEET UG 2025 list will be released by the exam conducting authority. The students whose names have appeared in the K arnataka merit list NEET UG 2025, will be able to participate in the Karnataka NEET counselling and seat allotment process 2025.
