The B.Pharm admissions in Telangana State is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad and is commonly referred to as TS EAMCET 2020. Eligibility Criteria for Telangana B.Pharm Admissions 2020
As is the case for pursuing an undergraduate programme across India, students aspiring to pursue the UG pharmacy course in the state must meet the requisite eligibility criteria for Telangana B.Pharm admissions 2020. Since the admission to the B.Pharm courses will be based on TS EAMCET 2020, the candidates will have to ensure that the requisite Telangana B.Pharm eligibility criteria 2020 as specified for TS EAMCET 2020. Note: Aspirants should make a note of the following criteria as well if you wish to pursue a B.Pharm programme in the state of Telangana.
A student who moved to Telangana from Andhra Pradesh after 2 June 2014 will be considered as a local candidate in Telangana. This rule will only be applicable until 1st July 2021
Migrant students must note that this rule will only applicable for Telangana B.Pharm 2020-2021 admissions
In order to complete the admission, the candidates must submit the relevant certificate prescribed by the TSCHE
Telangana B.Pharm Admission Procedure 2020
Once aspirants are assured that they meet the requisite eligibility criteria for the pharmacy course, they can take part in the Telangana B.Pharm admission procedure 2020, as has been defined below. As mentioned previously, admissions to the 4-year undergraduate course will be done based on the admission guidelines of TS EAMCET 2020. Therefore, candidates will be offered admissions to the courses based on the following parameters.
TS EAMCET Qualifying Marks:
Candidates belonging to the General Category need to secure at least 25% marks in the TS EAMCET entrance exam. One who cleared the entrance exam will be considered for admission to the B.Pharm program in Telangana. And as for the candidates from SC/ST category, there is no minimum qualification mark required in TS EAMCET. But they need to secure a non-zero positive score in the TS EAMCET entrance score.
TS EAMCET Ranking:
The applicants must have a valid TS EAMCET score in order to register for the Telangana B.Pharm counselling process. The rank of the candidates will be allocated based on their score in the TS EAMCET entrance exam. TSCHE gives a weightage of 25% to the candidates who have secured marks in the intermediate exam and 75% weightage to the candidates who have secured in the TS EAMCET.
TSCHE will prepare the merit list based on the candidate’s marks secured in the TS EAMCET test, as defined by the admission authorities.
If two or more candidates have a tie in standard scores, the admission authority shall work the matter out as follows.
The cumulative score of TS EAMCET entrance score will first of all be taken into account and the candidates with higher scoring will be classified above on the merit list than other candidates.
When the tie goes on after the implementation of the above rule then the total marks obtained by the candidates in physics/mathematics in their intermediate level will be taken into account for the merit for the merit list.
If the tie remains after the two rules have been applied, combined marks scored at an intermediate level by candidates will be considered.
If the tie persists even after the three rules are applied then the preference shall be given to the older candidate over the younger candidate.

Telangana B.Pharm Selection Process 2020
Selection of B.Pharm program in Telangana is based on the candidate’s score and ranking secured in TS EAMCET entrance exam. State government quota scheme will also be applicable during the Telangana B.Pharm selection process 2020. The selection of prospective students for the B.Pharm courses offered in the participating colleges of TS EAMCET 2020, will be based on the 2020 counselling session for Telangana B.Pharm admissions.
Telangana B.Pharm Counselling Process 2020
The Telangana B.Pharm Counseling Process 2020 will be applicable for candidates with a valid TS EAMCET rank. There are different stages in the Telangana B.Pharm counselling sessions, which is also a centralised process. The stages involved in the Telangana B.Pharm admission counselling process are explained below.
1. Counselling Fee :
In order to take part in the Telangana B.Pharm counselling process, candidates need to first pay the processing fee. The processing fee for General and SC/ST category have been mentioned below.
The processing fee may be paid through debit card, credit card or internet banking. Follow the steps mentioned in order to pay the below to pay the processing fee:-
For the Telangana B.Pharm counselling process, TSCHE maintains a separate website, and the students will have to visit that website to pay the processing fee.

The applicant will need to enter their TS EAMCET Hall Ticket Number, TS EAMCET Rank and enter the provided Captcha to pay the processing fee.
Candidates will see the payment gateway on the computer after entering all the relevant details
After paying the processing fee the candidates will receive a confirmation SMS of the payment.
For future reference take the print out of the payment receipt
2. Verification of Documents:
The authentication of documentation is an important aspect of the counselling process. The document verification process is conducted as follows at the nearest helpline centre.
Helpline Centre operations:
Students who have paid the counselling fee have to be present in the helpline centre on the date and time specified.
On arrival, handover your TS EAMCET rank card to the officer sitting at the help centre.
Go to registration hall and wait for the rank to be announced
Candidates will proceed to the registration desk if their rank is announced.
Candidates must submit the counselling fee receipt at the registration desk, or they will have to show the SMS to the registration officer.
The computer operator will then provide the Registration cum Verification Form to the applicant at the registration desk.

Send the filled-in application form and wait until the next announcement.
3. Certificate Verification
Proceed to the certificate division counter when an announcement is made. At the certificate division counter, officials will check all the certificates of the candidates and will issue an acknowledgement after checking all the certificates.
In addition to this, Candidates will also receive a login ID and password for Web options via SMS to their registered mobile number.
Exercising Web Options: Exercising options on the official website TS EAMCET counselling involves different stages such as:-
Registration of Candidate:
Open the TS EAMCET official counselling website
Click on the ' Candidates Registration 'option
Type the Login ID, Hall Ticket Number, TS EAMCET Ranking and Birth Date.
Click the "Generate Password" option
A password is sent via SMS on the candidate mobile phone
Enter the password and move on to the next stage
After the registration, a list of colleges and courses will be displayed as per the candidate’s selection
In the form of numbers such as 1,2,3,4, candidates must choose their preferred colleges
Click on "Confirm and Logout" after entering the options.
The options entered by the candidates will be saved for the seat allotment process.
Telangana B.Pharm Seat Allotment 2020
All candidates who have been shortlisted for the counselling process will be asked to follow certain steps in order to choose and select the course and college for you. Here are the steps that you need to follow during the Telangana B.Pharm seat allotment process 2020.
A major component of the seat allotment is the options entered or chosen by the candidates.
The seats are allocated to the prospective students based on their preferred choice of course and college, the opening & closing rank of the chosen college and the availability of seats in the respective course and college.
If in the first round, the candidate does not secure a seat, he/she can also appear for the second round.
If the applicant wishes to improve their seat allocation, he/she can decline his/her allotment and can take part in the further round of admission process.
The applicant must download the letter of the seat assignment and report to the college on or before the specified date if they are satisfied with the allocated seat.

Telangana B.Pharm Admission Reservation Policy 2020
The Telangana government's reservation policy applies to Telangana B.Pharm's admissions. A specific number of B.Pharm seats are allocated to reserved categories in both, government and private engineering colleges. The TSCHE has the authority, through the centralized counselling process, to fill 100% of seats in government colleges and 70% in private colleges.
