WBJEE 2025: The WBJEE 2025 registration began on 22 January 2025 on the official WBJEEB website, wbjeeb.nic.in. The last date for registration is 23 February 2025. The WBJEE 2025 exam will be offline on 27 April 2025. The WBJEEB has released the WBJEE 2025 information bulletin including all the important details about the exam. Before applying for the exam you must go through the eligibility criteria. It will be a pen-and-paper-based test conducted in nearly 22 districts of West Bengal, as well as in Assam and Tripura. During WBJEE 2025 registration , students must select their preferred exam city. The exam lasts for 4 hours and includes two papers: Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry). Admissions to B.E./ B.Tech and B.Pharma courses in West Bengal colleges are based on WBJEE scores. Therefore, students must take the exam and participate in the counseling process for seat allotment. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

The WBJEE 2025 eligibility criteria for engineering admission to B.Tech colleges are as follows -

Rule 1: Aspirants must have passed Class 12th in West Bengal with Physics and Mathematics as major subjects, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Computer Application, Computer Science, or Biology as the third subject.

Rule 2: Students must have passed Class 12th with at least 45% marks. However, this 45% minimum mark requirement applies only to the General Category. For reserved categories like SC, ST, PwD, OBC-A, and OBC-B, the minimum qualifying mark is 40%.

Rule 3: The students must have passed English in Class 12th with a minimum of 30% of marks.

Students who do not satisfy the above-mentioned eligibility norms are not eligible to appear for the entrance exam.

Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2025 B. Pharma

The eligibility criteria for B.Pharma admission through WBJEE can be checked below -

Rule 1: The aspirants must qualify for Class 12th with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics or Biology as the compulsory subjects.

Rule 2: The applicants must have passed English as one of the subjects in Class 12th, and the minimum mark required in the respective subject is 30%.

Rule 3: The students should qualify for Class 12th in the above subjects with a minimum of 45% of marks. However, the qualifying mark for reserved categories is 40%.

WBJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for B.Arch

The eligibility criteria for B.Arch admission through WBJEE are as follows -

Rule 1: The applicants must qualify for Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects.

Rule 2: The students must have a minimum of 50% of marks in Class 12th in the above subjects to be eligible to appear for WBJEE 2025 exam..

Rule 3: The students must have a valid rank/ score in the NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 exam.

The WBJEE eligibility criteria for a student's age limit appearing for the exam are as follows -

  • The minimum age of the applicant should be 17 years as of December 31, 2025.

  • The students must have been born on or before December 12, 2008.

  • There is no upper WBJEE age limit for 2025
