NIT Silchar admission 2024 is currently ongoing. Registration for JEE Main 2024 session 2 has begun and will end by March 02, 2024. The exam will be held from April 4 - April 15, 2024. GATE 2024 is scheduled for February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. GATE 2024 scores will be used for NIT Silchar admission to M.Tech in 2024. Moreover, IIT JAM 2024 exam will be conducted on February 11, 2024.

NIT Silchar Application Process

Walk-in Inquiries

Students or candidates who want to be admitted to any department can walk into the admission cell situated on the campus and take the application form. The form can be submitted to the admission office. A nominal application fee of Rs 1000 is to be paid while submitting the form, which can be paid by credit/debit card, net banking, or through UPI as well, and if the candidate is shortlisted, they will be reached out via phone or email by the admission team. The candidate will receive an acknowledgement receipt upon successfully accepting the application form.

Online Application

Since the onset of the corona pandemic, most of the admission process is now online. Candidates can submit their application via the official link and pay the application fee of Rs 1000 via net banking, credit/debit cards, or even the UPI system. The list of needed documents should also be uploaded on the same site by the candidate. Once the application is sent, the candidate would receive an acknowledgement through email and via SMS as well.

National Institute of Technology, Silchar Counselling Process 2023

NIT Silchar MBA Selection Process 2019

The NIT Silchar MBA selection process is very simple. The candidates need to pass the 3 phases of the selection process. The MBA selection process comprises the entrance exam round, GD and PI round.

Entrance Exam: The candidates need to sit for the national level entrance exams such as CAT/CMAT/MAT. Candidates are judged on the basis of the marks obtained by the students in the entrance exam.

GD: Candidates who qualified and got shortlisted by the college need to sit for the group discussion round and qualify.

PI: Candidates who cleared both the entrance exam and GD round need to sit for the interview round.

Candidates finally qualifying for the personal interview round need to submit the course fee and confirm their seats.
