Panjab University is one of the most popular universities in north India which offers higher education in many streams and disciplines. Bachelor of Law (LLB) is one of the most sought after degrees of the Panjab University (PU). The admission process of LLB at PU is done through the entrance exam that is organised by the university itself. The Panjab University LLB Entrance Exam is conducted annually in order to shortlist students for the course of Bachelor of Law at the various colleges of Panjab University. Aspirants planning to take up the three-year law course are advised to fill the applications for the PU LLBentrance examination within the given deadline. The application form will be available in the online mode, however, the application fees could either be paid online or offline.

However, in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PU LLB entrance exam 2020 was cancelled. Candidates are being selected on the basis of their merit in the qualifying degree.

Panjab University will offer admission to the three-year law programme in four of its participating institutes- Panjab University in Chandigarh and its regional centres in Muktsar, Ludhiana, and Hoshiarpur. The PU LLB exam is conducted in offline mode in three languages - English, Hindi and Punjabi. The University offers 597 seats in the bachelor LLB programme in law. PU LLB Entrance Exam Application Process 2020

The PU LLB application form is available on the official website from the 1st of May 2020. The application form is released by the university in the online mode but candidates can pay the application fee in the online or offline mode. Candidates who want to pursue the three-year undergraduate programme in law need to register themselves with an email id and valid phone number. For the registration candidates need to follow the steps given below:

  • Before filling the application form candidates are advised to go through all the details related toPU LLB carefully.
  • In the registration, candidates need to provide personal details such as name, date of birth, email-id, mobile number and others.
  • After that the applicant will have to enter his/ her academic qualifications.
  • Once the candidates have entered all the necessary details, click on submit.
  • Note down the application number that will appear on the screen after you click on submit.
  • The candidates can pay the application fee in the online mode or they can generate a bank challan and pay in the offline mode.

PU LLB Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2020

The eligibility criteria for PU LLB Entrance Exam have been listed below. Candidates have to ensure that they meet the conditions before they proceed to apply for the exam. Those who do not qualify all the PU LLB eligibility criteria will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

  • Candidates who are planning to take up the undergraduate law programme at PU are requested to cross-check the eligibility criteria to avoid any confusion.
  • Students who have cleared/appearing in the final year bachelor’s degree from the recognized university with a minimum of 45% as the pass percentage are eligible to apply for PU LLB exam.
  • Age Limit: There is no age bar for the PU LLB exam

The application fee for PU LLB Entrance Exam 2020 has been mentioned in the table given below. This is the fee that candidates have to pay when they fill the application form of Panjab University LLB Entrance Exam 2020. It can be paid in the online mode while filling the application form through net banking, credit card, debit card, etc. or in the offline mode as well. To pay to the form offline, candidates will have to generate a bank challan while filling the application form and then go to any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) and pay for the form.

PU LLB Entrance Exam Admit Card 2020

Panjab University will issue the admit card for its PU LLB Entrance Examonce the application process is over. The PU LLB Entrance Exam 2020 admit card will be only available in the online mode and students will be able to download their PU LLB Entrance Exam hall ticketfrom their respective login account. Without the admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The admit card of PU LLB Entrance Exam 2020 will contain the following information:

  • The name of the candidate
  • The candidate's roll number
  • Exam Date
  • Exam Timing
  • Venue
  • Instructions for the exam

Candidates can download their admit card from the official website and take the printout of the same. If students find any discrepancy in the PU LLB Admit card, they should immediately contact the authorities of the Punjab University and get it rectified at the earliest.
