The CUET UG exam will be conducted from  May 15 to May 24, 2024, and the Final Answer Key will be released in the first week of June 2024.   • Candidates must first visit the official website of CUET (cuet.samarth.ac.in)
  • On the official website, candidates must click on the Log in/Sign in button.
  • Subsequently, candidates will have to provide their CUET Application Number and Password as login credentials to access their CUET scorecard.
  • After successfully logging in, the CUET score card will be displayed. Candidates can either download their scorecard in PDF format or take a printout of the same directly.

How to Calculate CUET Score?

Aspirants must know how to calculate the CUET score for various reasons. Firstly, it will help them gain an estimate of their CUET scores before their CUET scorecard is released. Secondly, it will also help candidates find out if their CUET scores are correct on their scorecard. The CUET marking scheme is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is important to note that the CUET scores are normalized and the final CUET scores of candidates are not their raw scores. The CUET marking scheme is as follows:

  • Correct answers or the most appropriate answer will receive five marks (+5)
  • Any incorrect options marked will be awarded minus one mark (-1).
  • There is no negative marking for unanswered/Marked for Review questions (0).
  • If more than one option is found to be correct then five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
  • If all options are found to be correct then five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
  • If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped, then all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five marks (+5) marks.

CUET Score Card 2024 - What After Results?

After the CUET results 2024 are announced, the participating institutes will hold separate CUET counselling sessions. The participating institutes will publish merit lists of candidates who qualified for the exam and met the eligibility and cutoff requirements of that institute or university after the announcement of the CUET result. NTA will also send the candidates' scores to the universities they selected on the CUET application form along with the scorecard release. Each of the participating institutes will conduct its own CUET counselling and admission process, which applicants who wish to apply to the institutes and courses must take part in.

Through the CUET counselling process, candidates will be assigned seats in the relevant courses at the university or institute of their choice. The admission form of the participating universities will be available on the official website of each participating university, and it must be filled out by all qualified applicants who want to be admitted there.

How can I apply for CUET counselling?

Candidates who have been shortlisted or are qualified must register and pay the registration fee to apply for CUET counselling. They will then be given the date, time, and location for the counselling process, where they must appear in person with the required documentation as specified by the admission authorities. Candidates will receive admission offers after physical document verification. By paying the admission fee and completing the other admission requirements, they will have to accept the offer.

How many rounds of CUET counselling will be held?

Candidates will be assigned seats in the universities/institutes and courses of their choice through the CUET counselling session using their CUET rank. Each university or institution will have its own CUET counselling session. According to the number of open seats after each round of counselling, the number of CUET counselling rounds will differ from university to university. At each institute, counselling sessions last three times on average. Candidates for the CUET must bring their admissions form to the specific university or institute on the day of counselling. 

How many universities accept CUET scores?

The CUET exam is accepted for UG admissions by up to 213 institutions or universities. Aspirants who wish to apply for UG courses through CUET have several options to choose from when it comes to universities that accept CUET. The universities that accept CUET can be classified into 5 categories which include Central University, State University, Deemed University, Private University, and Other University. Following is a list of how many institutions there are in each university category:

  • Central University - 46
  • State University - 36
  • Deemed University - 20
  • Private University - 105
  • Other University - 6

How many stages are there in the CUET counselling process?

The participating universities will publish their merit list or shortlist of candidates qualified to take part in the counselling process as soon as the CUET results are announced. Candidates must make sure to check the official website of their chosen universities to check if they have been selected. These applicants must fill out an application, pay the required application fee, and visit the institute's campus or the designated location with the list of supporting documentation provided by the universities for verification purposes. For some specific courses, some universities or institutes may hold personal interviews.

Who will release the CUET merit list 2023?

The CUET merit list 2023 will be released by the participating institutes after the CUET result has been declared. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which is responsible for conducting the CUET exam, will not release the merit list for any of the CUET participating institutes. The merit lists will be published online, and students must go to the official website of the university they selected in the CUET application form to view the merit list for that institution. Candidates will need to show up at the counselling session in accordance with their CUET rank attained.

Hello Vipan,

The college offers two degree programmes namely B.Sc and B.A. The courses offered here are delivered in regular mode, on campus. The B.Sc programme can be chosen from two different streams. The first year fees for the B.A programme at Bhargav Degree College is Rs 11,500. The course has an intake of 360 students. The fees for B.Sc Medical is Rs 13,250, with an intake of 120, and for B.Sc Non-Medical the fees is Rs 12,900, with an intake of 240 students.
