Important Instructions regarding KCET 2024 Document Verification

Here are the important instructions specified by KEA to candidates attending KCET 2024 verification –

  • The KCET 2024 document verification will be conducted rank-wise and the time slot will be allocated to the respective rank range. Primarily, the candidates are advised to check the rank-wise document verification dates and time slots.

  • It is important to report at the KCET 2024 helpline centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time slot

  • As per the previous year's data, KEA set up 29 nodal centres/ helpline centres for certificate verification. The candidate could visit any of the nearest helpline centres as per the scheduled rank-wise date and time slot.

  • The candidates were allowed into the document verification centre as per their ranks

  • Candidates must note that no separate document verification is necessary for multiple disciplines. For example, if you have completed the document verification as per your engineering rank, it is not necessary to attend document verification for B.Pharm/ Pharm.D. In simple words, document verification is a one-time activity irrespective of the stream that you want to choose at the time of option entry.

  • Document verification done for admission in engineering courses is also valid for other courses/ streams and vice-versa.

  • The candidates were required to attend the document verification with original documents and 2 sets of photocopies of all original documents.

  • It is important to note that only those candidates aspiring for admission with a valid KCET rank could attend the certificate verification and no one could represent on behalf of candidates. In simple words, the candidates will have to be physically present at the centre.

  • After the document verification, the candidates were provided with a ‘Secret Key’, which will be important for filling out the college options.

  • Only those candidates completing the document verification process and receiving the secret key were considered for filling out the college options

  • At the end of each day after the document verification, KEA released the list of candidates eligible for the KCET 2024 counselling process such as option entry and seat allotment.

  • The KCET 2024 eligibility list will be placed at kea.kar.nic.in

  • It is important to maintain decorum at the verification centres and cooperate with the authorities for the smooth conduct of the document verification process
