Seats Available for Admission Basis JNUEE 2022

JNUEE 2022: The application process for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) 2022 has already begun. The last date to apply for the same is 18th June 2022. All the candidates who wish to get admission into UG or PG courses at JNU can apply for JNUEE 2022 by visiting the official website. Every year, more than 1 lakh candidates apply for JNUEE which certainly makes it imperative for applicants to have knowledge of the number of seats available for the programme.

JNUEE 2022 is an admission test for all the candidates seeking admission to JNU’s undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Before applying for any of the programmes whose admission shall be done through JNUEE, candidates must know the total number of seats available for the respective programmes.

In order to get selected for admission to various programs offered by JNU, the candidates must obtain the minimum scores in Computer Based Test (JNUEE 2022) as mentioned below:

*Important Note: In case of candidates applying under JRF and GATE categories, same criteria will be followed. However, in these cases selection will be done on the basis of 100% viva-voce score. The candidates not appearing in the viva voce (wherever prescribed) are not eligible for being considered for admission to that programme of study for which they do not appear in the viva voce.

Important Instructions for JNUEE 2022 Seat Intake

Some of the important instructions for JNUEE 2022 seat intake are listed below:

The intake for each programme of study are approved by the Academic Council on the recommendations of the Centres/Schools concerned.
The intake of foreign nationals both under in-absentia category and those who are admitted through entrance- examination is also over and above the intake capacity of each Centre/School of study (except for Ph.D. programme). Such supernumerary seats are normally 15% of the intake capacity.
The intake for admission of foreign students for Ph.D. programme may be considered in compliance with UGC 2016 Regulations regarding number of research scholars faculty (i.e. Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) can supervise.
Foreign students shall be offered seats only if seats are left vacant in any discipline after being offered to Indian candidate who have appeared in the Entrance Examination.
