Shardha University was established in 2009 and has gained a dominant position in education and research. It is a private university, the only global university in India with students from more than 85 countries and academic connections with more than 250 universities around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, Slovenia, Italy and Canada. 

Shardha University is a private university in Greater Noida courses, offering more than 216 courses in 14 interdisciplinary schools. Shardha University admission is based on the Sharda University Entrance Examination (SUAT) 2023. The college gives more than 2 hundred packages at UG, PG, Doctoral, Diploma, Integrated, and Short-time period degrees/ certificates. Popular guides at SU are B. Tech., B.Sc., and MBA. Admissions to those packages are accomplished through front tests of JEE, SUAT, GATE, NET, MAT, CAT, CLAT, NEET and plenty of different tests. The Shardha University Placement branch features as a bridge among the Universities, Schools, Industries and Students.

Students can apply for 11 different types of scholarships based on their academic qualifications as well as their achievements in sports and the arts. More than 2000 scholarships have been offered to Sharda University students, totaling 86 crores of rupees. The University provides full or partial tuition fee waivers to eligible students. 

Students will be eligible for the following merit scholarships based on their good performance in the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), Personal Interview (PI), and qualifying exam merit.
