Nimbus Academy of Management admission 2023-24 for Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts courses have started. Doon Educational Trust Society (DETS) is the organisation that manages the NIMBUS Academy of Management (formerly the National Academy of Management). DETS was established in 1996 with the sole purpose of establishing a management institute in Uttarakhand's capital, Dehradun. In 1998, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) issued the institute a letter of viability. It subsequently acquired a permission letter in 1998 for a 2-year, full-time MBA programme with a seat intake of 60 students per year. 

Following the establishment of Uttar Pradesh Technical University, the college's affiliation was changed from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur Vishwavidyalaya to Uttar Pradesh Technical University. Again, the affiliation was changed from Uttar Pradesh Technical University to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar, due to the separation of Uttaranchal from Uttar Pradesh.
