Symbiosis Institute of International Business or as abbreviated as SIIB is an autonomous institute founded in 1956. The institute is one of the prestigious business schools in the country and is a constituent of Symbiosis International University (SIU). It is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Through all its years, the institute has not only focused academically but also ensured the smart personality and holistic behavior of the students.

In 2002, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India conferred the "Deemed to be University" status on Symbiosis, and further in 2006 the UGC vide its notification withdrew the word Deemed and renamed the University as Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU). SIU is accredited by NAAC with an 'A' Grade.

Admission in SIIB Pune MBA programme is based on the marks gained in qualifying degree examination and SNAP entrance exam score.

SIIB Pune offers scholarships to needy and deserving students. SIIB Pune scholarships are offered in two ways- at the time of admission or during the semester for commendable performance. 

SIIB Pune Eligibility Criteria

In order to qualify for SIIB Pune Scholarships, students must meet the following SIIB scholarships eligibility criteria.

• As per revised policy semester topper will be awarded scholarship based on academic
• excellence, a minimum GPA of 7.50.
• Only those students will be eligible for the award of Merit Scholarship who have cleared the courses prescribed for the respective programme. i.e. they should not have many backlog.
• The student who has been awarded merit scholarship by the University shall not be debarred from stipend or any financial assistance from any other source. 
• The student is awarded any stipend or financial assistance from any other source, he/she shall communicate the same through the Institute to the office of Student Affairs, SIU.
• There will be no income limit of the parents/guardians of the students for the grant of merit scholarship.
• In case a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/freeship by the University, he/she shall be awarded only one scholarship/freeship as per his/her preference. 

SIIB Pune Scholarships Selection Process

• The award of merit scholarship for PG programmes shall be announced every year by the University.
• If a student declines or cancels his admission, the scholarship amount will not be awarded to any other student but will be refunded by the institute to the University.
• The scholarship amount will not be paid to a student. It will be transferred by the University directly to the Institute for the adjustment in academic fee. The cheque of the scholarship amount will be given to the student for the last semester of the program.
