Check the eligibility criteria for the JEE Advanced 2025 that will clarify whether class 12 passouts of 2023 are eligible for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam below:

  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • By appearance in the Class 12th (or equivalent) examination, it means that the Board concerned declared the result for that year, irrespective of whether or not the examination was conducted. It will be considered as an appearance even if the result of a particular candidate was withheld
  • If the examination Board of Class 12th (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2022-23 on or after June 28, 2023, then the candidates of that Board who appeared for their Class 12th (or equivalent) examination in 2023 are also eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria.
  • In case the examination Board of Class 12th (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2022-23 before June 28, 2023, but the result of a particular candidate was withheld for whatever reason, then the candidate will not be eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025

  • Number of Attempts: A total of two attempts are allowed in the JEE Advanced exam within two consecutive years
  • Earlier Admission at IITs: If the candidates' admission was withheld or cancelled due to any reason, then they will not be allowed to appear for the JEE Advanced 2025 exam.

No, you can not get admission to NMIT without the NUCAT exam. If you wish to take admission to NMIT, Bangalore in the Civil Engineering stream, you are required to participate in the nationwide NUCAT 2025 examination. The institute does not offer admissions based on the KCET or COMEDK UGET 2025 exam.
