Chandigarh University LL.B Eligibility Criteria 2022

To take admission to the LL.B department of Chandigarh University, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university. Those candidates who would not fulfil the Chandigarh University LL.B eligibility criteria will not be admitted to the university. 

Students need to complete their 10+2 and Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university to become eligible for LL.B admission. It is mandatory for the candidates to have at least 50% aggregate marks in their UG programme. The reserved category candidates can apply for the programme with 45% aggregate marks. Students from any stream are accepted for the LL.B degree except for Fine Arts. Candidates will be finally selected for Chandigarh University LL.B degree based on the marks obtained by them in the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The CUCET exam is conducted in two phases, CUCET Phase I and CUCET Phase II. 

Chandigarh University LL.B Application Process 2022 

Admission to the LL.B course of Chandigarh University will be based on CUCET. The application form will be available in online and offline modes. However, the CUCET exam will be conducted only in the online mode.  Students can submit their registration forms using one of the methods listed below.

Online Mode

  • To register, go to the CUCET website at http://cucet.cuchd.in and register themselves.
  • A confirmation text/ message is sent via SMS/ E-mail following successful registration.
  • Once registered, students need to pay Rs. 1,000/- registration fee and they will receive a digital version of the prospectus.
  • Aspirants must then fill in their current qualifications, including school name and subjects, and select a CUCET exam date from the drop-down menu.
  • They need to attend the CUCET examination on the scheduled date and time using their registered login details at https://cucet.cuchd.in.
  • The result will be sent to the applicants via email.
  • It will also be displayed in their login account as well at https://cucet.cuchd.in.

Offline Mode 

Applicants can obtain a CUCET Brochure cum form by paying Rs. 1,000/- at the university application offices/ authorized centres.

  • Students then need to register themselves on the CUCET website - https://cucet.cuchd.in and create their profile. 
  • Once they register successfully, they will receive a confirmation message through SMS or Email.
  • Following that, they need to scratch the CUCET form and fill out their application on the website with the unique number they received on the form.
  • Students need to provide the relevant details such as current qualification, school name, and subjects and select the CUCET exam date.
  • Aspirants need to attempt the CUCET examination on the scheduled date using their login details at https://cucet.cuchd.in.
  • The university will communicate the result to them via email and also make it available in their login account.

CUCET is a national-level online entrance test administered by Chandigarh University. The CUCET test scores will be used for CU LL.B 2022 admissions, allowing students to win scholarships and study at Chandigarh University in the programs of their choice.
