The CLAT Consortium will release the CLAT 2026 cutoff before the counselling and seat allotment process. Apart from the NLUs, other law colleges in India also accept the CLAT score for providing admission to students. The CLAT 2026 counselling process will begin after the release of the result. After the release of the result, candidates can explore their options of law schools and select a law college that will be preferable for them based on the CLAT cutoffs for various NLUs. The CLAT cutoff depends on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the cutoff of the previous year, the number of qualifying candidates, and the difficulty level of the exam. Only candidates who will clear the cutoff set by the Consortium will be considered for the further admission rounds of CLAT 2026.
