JEE Main Application Form 2024: Registration for JEE Main 2024 April Session has started on the official website -jeemain.nta.ac.in on February 2, 2024. How to Apply for JEE Main 2024?

JEE Main 2024 application form is released in online mode only. Only those candidates who meet the JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2024 can register for the upcoming session. Applicants need to go through the step-by-step process for JEE Main registration 2024 so that they do not make any mistakes while applying.

Step 1: Registration

Candidates will have to register using their email address or phone number. This step will also require candidates to create a new password and generate security questions. After successful registration, a unique application number will be generated. Students should note down JEE Main 2024 registration number and password which will be used for all subsequent logins (both sessions 1 and 2 if applicable).

Step 2: JEE Main 2024 Application Form

Candidates will have to log in again using their JEE main application number and password. Further, all the required information needs to be filled in for the JEE Main application form 2024 such as personal details, academic details, the paper which they are applying for, preferred exam city, etc. Candidates are advised to go through the important instructions regarding choosing exam cities in JEE Main Application Form 2024 while filling out the details.

Step 3: Uploading Documents

Candidates will need to upload the required documents in the prescribed format. The documents required for the JEE Main application form for 2024 include scanned images of the candidate’s photograph, signature, address proof (present and permanent), category certificate (if applicable), and PwD certificate (if applicable).

Step 4: Application Fee Payment

As the final step of registration for JEE Main 2024, candidates will be required to pay the application fee. This step is mandatory and no application form for JEE Main 2024 will be accepted without an application fee. The mode of payment is online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, and UPI.

NTA required candidates to upload specific documents while filling out the JEE main 2024 online application form. All candidates must upload the required documents in the correct format. The list of documents required for JEE Main application form 2024 has been listed below:

How to Upload JEE Main Registration 2024 Documents?

Candidates must keep in mind some of the following important instructions while uploading documents for 2024 JEE Main registration form:

• The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.

• Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).

• The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).

• The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)

• The size of the scanned copy of the Address Proof (Present and Permanent) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb (clearly legible).

• The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb (clearly legible).

• The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in pdf between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible)

• All candidates (already registered and new registration) are required to upload address proof (present and permanent address) during the online Application Form of JEE Main 2024. The address proof may include an Aadhar card, domicile certificate, passport, voter ID card, etc

• The Candidate has to upload these documents in a correct/proper manner, as the facility for correction will not be given in the future.

• Candidates must check their photograph and signature before submitting the JEE Main Application Form 2024. In case the photograph or signature is blurred or not visible to identify the identity of the candidate then, the application will be rejected and no option for correction or revision will be permitted.

JEE Main Registration Fee 2024

All applicants must pay JEE Main 2024 application fee while applying. The application fee differs depending on the paper the candidate is appearing for or the category of respective candidates. The category-wise JEE Main application fee 2024 can be checked below:

JEE Main 2024 Fee Payment Guidelines

The JEE Main 2024 application fee can be paid online through credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. Candidates can pay the application fee for one or two papers. The application fee for two papers is twice the application fee for one paper. Candidates can also pay an additional fee of ₹250 to apply for the JEE Main Paper 2 (Drawing Test). The application fee is non-refundable. After paying the application fee, candidates will receive a confirmation message. Candidates should print out the confirmation message and keep it safe for future reference.

JEE Main Application Form Correction 2024

The JEE Main Correction Window 2024 for Session 2 will be activated after the completion of the registration process. There might be situations where candidates make a mistake in JEE Main 2024 application form. For such situations, NTA will provide the JEE Main Application Form Correction 2024 facility through which candidates can make edits to their details. Through the JEE Main application form correction, candidates can make corrections to details like name, category, father’s name, educational qualification, exam city, etc. However, NTA does not allow any modifications in details like mobile numbers, email addresses, permanent addresses, and correspondence addresses. JEE Main Application Form 2024: Important Instructions

Some of the important instructions that candidates must keep in mind while completing the JEE Main Registration 2024 are listed below:

• Candidates must ensure that the email address and phone number provided during JEE Main 2024 registration are correct as all further communication will be done through the same modes.

• A copy of the final confirmation page and JEE Main 2024 final score will also be sent to the registered e-mail address of the candidate as well as the parent/ guardian.

• Information provided by the candidates in their respective online Application Forms, like, the name of the candidate, contact details, address details, category, PW status, educational qualification details, date of birth, choice of examination cities, etc. will be treated as final. Any request for change in such particulars will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.

• The choice of examination cities displayed to the candidates will be based on the permanent and correspondence addresses filled in during the online application form of JEE Main 2024.
