The Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE) is responsible for conducting the admission process in Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy courses in Kerala. The KEAM 2020 examination is scheduled to be conducted on July 16, 2020, and the results will be declared by July. What is KEAM Cutoff?
Once the admission process is complete, CEE Kerala releases the closing rank of KEAM participating institutes. The closing rank is released for all the courses offered at the institute. Seats are offered at the institute in various phases. Usually, the counselling process is completed in phases and the closing rank is released for all the phases.
KEAM cutoff is the closing rank of the institute. Previous years closing rank or cutoff is used to determine the chances of a candidate to get admission in the desired college and branch. CEE releases results and Merit/ Rank List for KEAM separately. KEAM result is released in July which contains the marks obtained by candidates in Paper I and Paper II. The rank list is released in the month of July or August and it contains list of application numbers of candidates and their KEAM rank. Based on the rank list seats are allotted to the candidates after the counselling process. Candidates whose names (application number) are in the rank list can only appear for counselling in the participating colleges of KEAM.
Registration for the counselling process begins after the rank list is declared. Although candidates can choose the list of colleges and courses according to his/ her preference, final seat allotment is done on the basis of rank obtained by the candidate.
