MBA admission at Kerala University 2020 will be based on the scores in any of the management entrance exams such as K­MAT, C­MAT or CAT. Kerala University MBA Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates interested in pursuing MBA from Kerala University need to be aware of the eligibility criteria for MBA so that they can proceed accordingly for the admissions. They can take a look at the eligibility criteria listed below:

  • Candidates who want to take admission in MBA must have passed a bachelor degree in relevant stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Kerala University will only accept the bachelor degree scores from the Indian university recognised by the University of Kerala.
  • Candidates must have cleared any either BA, B.Sc., B.Com., B.E/ B.Tech, B.Sc. (Agri.) or any other 4/5 year degree course with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Candidates who have cleared M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com or any other post-graduate degree are also eligible for admission.
  • SC/ST and SEBC candidates shall be given relaxation as per University rules.

How to Apply for Kerala University MBA Admission 2020?

Applicants can check the steps mentioned below while to apply for MBA admission:

Step 1: Registration

Candidates will need to register themselves firstly on the official website of Kerala University, http://admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in. Candidates may proceed to “Click here to register” and then they can enter the basic information. After registering, an application number and password will be generated for the candidates which will be further used for future reference.

Note: 1. Candidates are advised to enable the javascript while visiting the website.

2. Candidates should not press the “back” button during the process of registration.

Step 2: Entering Personal Details, Qualifying Examination details and Options for various Programmes

Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam need to login into the website with the application number and password provided to them. After logging in, candidates will have to enter all their personal details including full name, address, email address and contact number. Candidates will then have to enter their scores in the qualifying examination. Candidates need to select the program which they want to pursue.

Note: Candidates must note that the dates will be announced online. Candidates who have qualified the degree from other universities need to enter their scores in the qualifying entrance exam. A stipulated period will be provided to the candidates in case of error.

Step 3: Download the challan, remit the fees and then enter fee remittance details:

Candidates need to log in to the candidate's page using the application number and password provided to them. Candidates who don't remind their password must note that date of birth is the default password. Candidates should then fill the registration fee remittance details on the page

Step 4: Uploading photo and signature:

Candidates who are filling the application form will have to upload the scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Application Verification

Once the application fee is submitted, candidates can verify the application and edit the details provided by them.

Step 6: Saving an offline copy or taking the print out

All the candidate should take the print out of the Kerala University application form for future reference. The application form slipt will appear on the screen once the fee is submitted.

Documents Required for Kerala University MBA Application Form 2020

Some of the documents which will be required while filling the application form are listed below:

  • Receipt of the University fee remitted in the bank.
  • The admission memo.
  • Date of birth proof.
  • Transfer certificate (TC) from the Institution last attended and Conduct Certificate.
  • Eligibility certificate from the University of Kerala in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities.
  • Mark sheets of the degree examination and provisional/degree certificate.
  • Migration certificate in case of candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities.
  • Some of the other documents required to be produced by the Head of Institution.

Kerala University MBA Selection Process 2020

The selection process for MBA admission at Kerala University is explained below:

Step 1: Reporting to the campus with the original copy of required documents

Candidates who have applied for admission need to report to the university with the original copy of documents above. The dates will be updated online. The date and time of group discussion and personal interview will be intimated via SMS and e-mail based on the information given at the time of registration.

Step 2: Documents Verification, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview

Documents verification will be done by the head of the department. The head will verify the documents for the correctness of details provided by the candidates during the time of the application process. If the head of the department finds any incorrect information then he has the right to cancel the admission of the candidate. Centres for group discussion and personal interview are mentioned below.

Note: Applicants who failed to report to the campus before the date allocated will not be allowed for further rounds of admission.

Step 3: Selection

Final selection will be done after considering the scores obtained by the candidates in Group discussion(10%), Entrance test(80%) and Interview (10% weightage). Once candidates satisfy the criteria will be eligible for getting admission in the Kerala University.
