NID DAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines: NID DAT applicants must adhere to certain regulations on exam day, including those specified by exam officials such as arriving at the NID DAT exam centre on time and behaving respectfully inside the examination area. Students must keep in mind that the exam gate closes at 9:30 AM, and the reporting time is 8:00 AM. Half an hour after the NID DAT exam begins, candidates will not be permitted to enter or leave the NID exam centre till the exam is over.

The NID DAT (Prelims), the first step, is a written exam lasting three hours, which is scheduled to take place in around 22 Indian cities on December 24, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Applicants must adhere to the comprehensive exam day guidelines for NID DAT that have been issued by the admission officials.   • The NID exam centre will not have a baggage counter or other such facilities. Neither NID nor any assigned exam centre will accept liability for any lost or stolen items. Thus, it is recommended that you either make your preparations or refrain from carrying any costly items.
  • Carry a printed copy of your NID DAT admit card. Applicants would not be permitted to enter the testing facility if they fail to bring a printed copy of their admit card. Any downloaded or digital copy of the admit card, however, will not be considered valid by the officials. 
  • Bring things such as erasers, sharpeners, pens, pencils, rulers, etc. with you to the exam centre.
  • Candidates should carry a legitimate government-issued photo ID as proof of identity and should not write anything on their admit card.
  • Holding forbidden material, engaging in cheating, or using unethical tactics may result in instant disqualification.
  • Within the exam centre, there will not be food or drinks available.
  • Changes to the exam centre or date cannot be permitted at the last moment.
  • Until the NID DAT exam ends, an applicant is not permitted to leave the testing facility.
  • The applicant must show up at the NID DAT exam facility by 8 AM.
  • The exam centre's gates will close thirty minutes before the test starts. After 9.30 AM, no applicant will be permitted to enter the examination hall.
  • It is not permitted to bring the NID DAT question booklet outside of the exam location.
  • Following the DAT Prelims exam, the applicant's submitted caste certificates will also be verified. If any paperwork appears to be erroneous or invalid, the applicant will be immediately terminated from participating in further rounds.
  • A week before the exam's conduction, you can send an email to admissions@nid.edu if there are any discrepancies with your NID DAT admit card details.

Things Allowed in NID DAT Exam Centres

As discussed, if you do not carry your NID DAT admit card, you will not be allowed to take the entrance exam. Only the below-mentioned type of stationery will be permitted inside the NID examination hall by NID staff members.
