Private Law Colleges Accepting KLEE Scores

Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Exams (CEE), Government of Kerala for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM courses. KLEE is held on a yearly basis in which more than 15 private law colleges participate.

KLEE LLB 2020 was successfully conducted on June 20 and June 22, 2020, and the results of 3-year LLB was announced on Aug 3, 2020. KLEE LLM 2020, on the other hand, has been postponed indefinitely in view of the current COVID-19 crisis in the state. 

Admission to the private law colleges accepting KLEE scores will be based on the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) wherein successful candidates will be asked to register their course and college options. As per the KLEE 2019 notification released by the CEE, there are only four private self-financing colleges that hold admission to LLM on the basis of KLEE LLM scores. The specialisations offered at these institutes have also been included in the table.

KLEE Counselling or Centralised Allotment Process 2020

  • KLEE Counselling or Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) will be conducted by CEE, Kerala in online mode to allot seats in private colleges accepting KLEE 2020 scores. 

  • KLEE CAP is a single-window system of allotment which is entirely based on KLEE rank list for the concerned law programmes.

  • Candidates are required to register options only to those colleges and courses (in case of 5-year LLB) which they are certain to join on allotment.

  • The facility for registering options will be open only during the specified period, as announced by CEE.

  • Any candidate should have the KLEE ‘Application number’ and ‘password’ in order to register his/her options.

  • Candidates who have valid options and still wish to participate in KLEE’s second seat allotment round have to log in to their registration page and confirm their options by clicking the ‘Confirm’ button.

  • After saving the selected options, a printout of the final list of selected courses and colleges may be taken for future reference. 

  • The process of KLEE CAP ‘Option Registration’ is complete only when the candidate logs off.

B.Com LLB is available at the Khalsa College of Law, Amritsar. The integrated law course is 5 years long and requires an individual to complete level 10+2 with Commerce/ Mathematics/ Economics. The minimum aggregate of 45% marks in case of General category and 40% marks of SC/ST category is accepted by the institute for the course.
