KLEE LLB is organised by CEE Kerala every year to grant admission to candidates to 3-Year and 5-Year LLB courses. Those who clear the examination can join the participating Government and Private Self-financing colleges in the state. To be considered for seat allotment, it is mandatory to be a part of the counselling process.

About KLEE LLB 2026

KLEE 2026: The KLEE LLB 2026 application process will be released on the CEE portal around May 2026. KLEE LLB will be conducted in June 2026 for 5-Year and 3-Year LLB courses.

The admission test is conducted annually by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala, to shortlist deserving students for the 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. Those who qualify in the examination can pursue the courses at the participating colleges of KLEE.

KLEE Conducting Body

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala is responsible for conducting the Kerala LL.B entrance exam for providing admissions into both Integrated Five-Year and Three-Year LL.B courses offered by various Government and Private/Self-Financed Law college in the state of Kerala. The candidates after completing their respective courses will be eligible to be enrolled as an Advocate under the Advocates Act of 1961.

KLEE 2026 Application Process

The KLEE application form is provided online at cee.kerala.gov.in. Interested candidates have to fill out and submit the online application form by the mentioned date. In the application process, the students need to register themselves, fill out the form, pay the fees, upload images and certificates and print the acknowledgement form. While filling out the application form, candidates must be aware of providing only the correct and valid details. The application process includes:

Candidates who will appear for KLEE 2026 should know the admission process. The steps included in the Kerala LL.B 2026 entrance exam admission process are as follows:

  • Qualified candidates have to appear for the CAP

KLEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The Kerala LLB eligibility criteria for 3-year and 5-year LLB courses are discussed below. The candidates who want to apply for the KLEE 2026 3-year and 5-year LL.B courses must be Indian citizens. 

KLEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria for 3-Year LLB

The candidates who want to apply for the 3-year LL.B course must have completed their graduation from the University of Kerala or any other board which is recognised by Kerala University. General candidates need to have at least 45% aggregate marks in their graduation, whereas the economically backward candidates should have 42%, followed by SC and ST category candidates, who should have 40% to appear for the exam. There is, as such, no lower age limit for the candidates to apply for the examination but the upper age limit is decided by the Supreme Court. 

KLEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria for 5-Year LLB

Candidates must have completed their secondary examination (10+2) with first class from the Higher Secondary Board of Kerala or a recognised board accepted by Kerala University. Only those candidates who are of Kerala origin appear for the KLEE 2026. Interested candidates should have 45% aggregate marks, economically backward class candidates should have passed with 42% marks and SC/ ST candidates should have scored 40%. The minimum age of the candidates must be 17 years and the upper age limit will be decided by the Honourable Supreme Court. 

KLEE 2026 Syllabus

Candidates must be well-versed with the complete KLEE syllabus before beginning their preparation for the said entrance exam. The 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB syllabi are the same, but the difficulty level of the examination might differ. Candidates should note that the 3-year LLB exam is a graduate-level examination, whereas the 5-year LLB exam is an undergraduate-level examination.

KLEE 2026 Exam Pattern

The KLEE 2026 exam pattern is the same for both 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB.

  • The KLEE 2026 will be held in online (computer-based test) mode.
  • A total of 200 questions are asked in the examination.
  • The total marks for the examination are 600.
  • There are altogether 4 sections.
  • The questions asked in the exam are objective type.
  • The total time duration for both exams is 2 hours.
  • For every correct answer, +3 will be awarded and -1 for every wrong answer.

The admit card for the Kerala LL.B 2026 entrance exam will be available on the official website, cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates must remember that the KLEE admit cards will not be sent by post.

There will be separate links to download the 3-year and 5-year LL.B admit cards. Take a printout of the admit card and carry it on the day of the examination.
