UP ITI Admission 2021 - The registration process for UP ITI admission 2021 scheduled to begin on July 1 has been delayed. ITI admissionsin UP are conducted by State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) Uttar Pradesh every year. SCVT UP does not conduct an entrance exam for admission in ITI courses. Admission into various ITI programmes offered at various Government and Private ITIs in the state of Uttar Pradesh is done on the basis of a merit list which is prepared by taking into consideration the marks secured by the applicants in their respective qualifying examinations. 

In order to apply for ITI admissions in UP, the applicants have to be aware of various important aspects of UP ITI admissions such as eligibility criteria, important dates, the detailed application process, selection process etc. The candidates can find out all the details regarding these aspects in the sections that follow. 

Uttar Pradesh ITI Admission Dates 2021

Before finding out any other important thing regarding ITI admissions at Uttar Pradesh, we must know exactly when does the admission process begin. Thus, the tentative important dates regarding UP ITI admissions for the 2021 session have been provided in the table below - 

Uttar Pradesh ITI Eligibility Criteria 2021

The detailed eligibility criteria which the applicants have to fulfil while applying for ITI admission at Uttar Pradesh have been provided below - 

• The applicants have to be class VIIIth/Xth qualified (or equivalent) from a recognised Board

• The applicants should not be a day younger than 14 years on 01st August 2021 i.e the applicants should not be born after 31st July 2021 to fulfil the minimum age eligibility criterion

• Applicants who are appearing in their respective qualifying examination in 2021 are also eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions for the session 2021

• The applicants must be mentally and physically sound (fit) to be eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions

Note -

• There is no upper age limit to apply for UP ITI admissions 2021

• There is no relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved categories

UP ITI 2020 Application Form 2021

The step by step process to fill the application form for ITI admissions at Uttar Pradesh is given below - 

1. Click on the link - UP ITI Admission 2021 (Link to be activated soon) to go to the official website of UP State Council for Vocational Training containing the application form

2. Fill all the boxes with the required information like own name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category and mobile number and click on the “Send OTP” button to receive a verification link on your mobile phone. Type the OTP in the blank box and click on “Verify & Proceed” button to proceed to the next step

3. Three options will appear on the screen namely State, Private and State and Private. You have to select one from the available options and click on the “Submit” button to move to the next step

4. Now, you will see the UP ITI admission application form asking for all the important basic personal details like name, parents’/guardian’s name, correspondence address, category etc. You have to fill all the boxes very carefully and click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab

5. Now you have to provide your educational qualification details and upload your recent scanned photograph and signature. The scanned images should be in .jpg/.jpeg format only and should not be more than 50KB in size. Again you have to click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab

6. Now you have to choose between Group A and B followed by choosing of ITIs and courses. Click on the “Next” button 

7. Now, the preview of your filled application form will appear in front of you. You will have to check for all the details you have provided and then click on the agreement checkbox and click on the “Proceed to Payment” tab

8. You have to submit the application form fee to complete the online application process for ITI admission in Uttar Pradesh

The application form fee for ITI admission in Uttar Pradesh is different for candidates belonging to different categories - 

Uttar Pradesh ITI Selection Process 2021

Selection into the ITI courses offered by various Government and Private ITI institutions of Uttar Pradesh will be done through a counselling process. The counselling process for ITI admissions in Uttar Pradesh will be carried out on the basis of a merit list prepared by the officials by taking into consideration the marks secured by the applicants in their respective qualifying examinations. Only those candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be allowed to take part in the UP ITI admission counselling process. 

The counselling process for the final allocation of seats will be carried out in multiple rounds. The candidates will have the option of “Float” in case they are not satisfied with the allocated seats and are willing to wait for the result of the subsequent round of counselling and seat allocation process for better options. If the candidates are satisfied with the allocated seats, they can exercise their right to “Freeze” the seat. In such a scenario, the candidates will not be allowed to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling and seat allocation process. 

The seat allocation result will be updated on the official website of Uttar Pradesh State Council for Vocational Training. Those candidates who have been allocated seats will be notified through their registered mobile number. The candidates will be given 6 days thereafter to deposit the admission fee and confirm their admission in the allocated seats. Candidates failing to confirm their admission within the allocated timeline will be barred from the counselling process and the allocated seats will be confiscated. 

If the candidates applying for admission at the private ITIs in Uttar Pradesh fail to confirm their admission within the deadline. The private ITIs have the right to reserve those seats as management quota seats where eligible candidates will be given admission outside the SVCT portal. The eligible candidates only have to deposit the admission fee to confirm their admission in these management quota seats.
