Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal ANM/ GNM 2021 Admissions

ANM/ GNM Eligibility Criteria for 2021 Admissions in West Bengal
Educational Qualifications: You must have completed Class 12 or equivalent level of education from West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development or West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
Minimum Percentage Required: One must have scored a minimum of 40 per cent marks in aggregate as well as in the English language.
Gender: For the ANM course, only female candidates can apply. For the GNM course, both male and female candidates are eligible.
Minimum Age: 17 years
Maximum Age: 27 years
Citizenship: You must be the Citizen of India with a permanent residency of West Bengal for at least 5 years before the application date.
Language Fluency: One must be fluent in writing/ reading/ expressing Bengali or Nepali.

Selection Process for ANM/ GNM Admissions in West Bengal 2021
The selection process for GNM/ ANM courses in West Bengal is strictly done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the common entrance exam.
Based on the entrance exam result, a merit list is prepared.
The top four subjects are chosen to make the merit list. One of these compulsory subjects is English.
After all the applications have been submitted and the examination has been conducted, the conducting authority releases a merit list on its official website.
Candidates who make it to the list are then called for a document verification/ counselling process.
