AP ECET 2026: Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP ECET) will be conducted as a computer based test in May 2026 in two shifts. AP ECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The authorities release the eligibility criteria of AP ECET 2026 along with the official information brochure. Following are the eligibility criteria for applying for AP ECET 2026:

You must be an Indian citizen.
You must be residing in Andhra Pradesh.
You are required to possess a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State or from an AICTE approved institution recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
A minimum of 45% for general category candidates and 40% for reserved candidates are required while passing the Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy / B.Sc. Degree.

AP ECET 2026 Application Form

The application form of AP ECET 2026 will be released in the online mode in March 2026. The last date to fill the application form without any late fee will be in April 2026. The detailed process to fill the application form is mentioned below.

Step 1: Payment of Application Fee

Candidates have to first pay the application fee in order to proceed to filling the application form. In order to pay the application fee, students have to fill in the necessary details like the name of the candidate, date of birth, qualifying exam hall ticket number, valid mail ID and mobile number.

Step 2: Knowing Payment Status of AP ECET Application Form

In order to know the payment status, candidates have to login using their mobile number and qualifying exam hall ticket number and then click on the “Check Payment Status” tab.

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

Candidates will be able to fill the application form of AP ECET 2026 after successfully paying the application fee for the exam. Students have to login using their credentials like payment reference ID, qualifying exam hall ticket number and mobile number to fill the application form. All the applicants must fill in the requisite details and then click on the submit button.

Step 4: Uploading of Signature and Photograph

To finally submit the application form candidates are required to upload the signature and photograph in the specified format as mentioned by the authorities.

Step 5: Print Application Form

After filling the application form and uploading all the required documents candidates will be able to print the filled in application form. In order to print the application form candidates have to login using their credentials like Payment Reference ID, Registration Number, Diploma / BSC Hall Ticket No, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.

AP ECET 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of AP ECET 2026 is released along with the information brochure by the authorities on its official website. Find the AP ECET 2026 exam pattern below:

The AP ECET 2026 exam will be conducted as an online exam.
The exam will be of a total of 200 marks.
The total number of questions to be asked will be 200.
All the questions asked in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions.
For each correct answer, students will be awarded 1 mark.
There is no negative marking in the exam.
For Engineering Diploma holders, there will be 4 sections— Mathematics (50 questions), Physics (25 questions), Chemistry (25 questions), Professional Subject (100 questions from specific branches like Civil, Mechanical).
For Pharmacy Diploma, there will be 4 sections— Pharmaceutics (50 questions), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (30 questions), Pharmacognosy (40 questions), and Pharmacology (80 questions).
For B.Sc. (Maths) graduates: 3 sections— Mathematics (100 questions), Analytical Ability (50 questions), and Communicative English (50 questions).
