The Bihar B.Ed Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020 is a stated level entrance exam conducted every year by Lait Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga Bihar (LNMU) under Bihar Government. Every year, Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 is conducted for admission to 2 year’s B.Ed (Bachelors of Education) program for the session 2020-22.

The Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 Application Form process will go through three stages:

The process involved in each stage is given as below:

Stage 1: Online Registration

1. Before filling the application form, the students are advised to read all the instructions carefully.

2. Visit the official website and click on the Registration for the new user account. The create user tab will open.

3. Fill all the important details including the email id and mobile number on the create user page (the details with * sign on the side are compulsory).

4. After filling the information, click on submit button. A One Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the student on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP when prompted.

5. After submitting the registration, a user id and password will be generated. Use the same id and password to login to apply for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 exam.

Stage 2: Filling the Application Form

1. Use the registration id and password to log into the session.

2. Click on the link with Apply Online.

3. After accessing the form, fill all the required information including personal details, address, educational qualifications, and others.

4. Upload all the necessary documents such as educational certificates, photograph, signature and others as in the required format.

5. Choose the preferred examination centre. Note that the chosen exam centre will not be changed later.

6. Tick mark the box ahead of the declaration and click on the submit button. The payment gateway will be opened.

Stage 3: Paying the Application Fee

1. In case you want to edit the information in the application form, you can click on the preview button to edit the application. Note that after payment of application fee, no changes will be entertained in the application form.

2. Click on the Pay button and enter the details to pay the application fee through debit/credit/net banking.

3. After completion of payment, download the receipt and keep it for further reference.

Bihar B.Ed CET Educational Qualifications 2020

Before filling the application form for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020, the candidates must be aware of the educational qualifications required for the application. The educational qualifications required for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 are as follows:

• The student must have passed any bachelor degree or an equivalent degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

Or

• The student must have passed any masters degree with Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanity or Bachelors in Engineering/ Technology with specialisation in Mathematics and Science with a minimum aggregate of 55% in the equivalent qualifying exam.

Bihar B.Ed CET Reservation Policy 2020

The Bihar government has set some of the reservation policies for specific candidates of Bihar B.Ed CET 2020. However, the reservations for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 is only applicable for the permanent residents of Bihar state and will not be applicable for the candidates who are outsiders of the state. The reservation for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 with reserved percentage is given in the table below:

• Some seats for Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 exam will also be reserved for the Service Men Quota through which the son/daughters of ex-servicemen will be given admission. The eligible candidate for the servicemen quota will be decided on the basis of the marks obtained by students in the entrance test.

• All the reserved categories including SMQ are required to submit the certificate/proof of reservation before the prescribed date to avail the reservation for the exam. The candidate failing to do so will be considered as the general candidates.

Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 Exam Pattern

The Bihar B.Ed CET 2020 exam will be a total of 2 hours duration. There will be a total of 120 questions in the paper. The paper will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format where the students will have to choose the correct answer among the 4 options given and mark on the OMR sheet.
