What are some of the Bihar B.Ed CET exam day instructions that candidates should follow?

Test-takers should reach the test centre at least an hour before the exam time. Document verification will start about 20 to 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam. Do check your room number 30 minutes in advance as mentioned on the hall ticket. The OMR sheet will be placed on your desk as per your roll number. In 11 cities across the state, the Bihar B.Ed CET exam is conducted. The cities are Ara, Bhagalpur, Chapra, Darbhanga, Gaya, Hajipur, Madepura, Munger, Muzaffarpur, Patna and Purnea. Candidates can choose any three cities where they are comfortable appearing for the entrance exam. The exam authority will choose any one test city out of the preferred cities and test-takers can check their admit card for the final exam venue. 

 

Does Bihar B.Ed CET follow a reservation policy?

Yes, a reservation policy is taken into account following the government guidelines. The reservation policy is however not applicable for the All-Inda category candidates. Scheduled Tribes get 1% reservation, Backward Class gets 12%, Scheduled Caste gets 16%, Extremely Backward Classes get 18%, Economically Weaker Section gets 10% reservation, WBC/ RCG Reserved Category Women get 3% and Differently Abled Candidates get 5% reservation.

Dear student, yes, you can apply for Bihar B.Ed CET even if you did not pursue any programme recognized by the NCTE. To be eligible for Bihar B.Ed CET, it is not mandatory for the applicants to have pursued an NCTE-recognized programme. However, you cannot apply for B.Ed admission through Bihar B.Ed CET 2021 as the exam has already been conducted. You will have to wait till next year to apply for Bihar B.Ed CET provided the officials do not tweak the exam eligibility conditions.
