Yes, candidates who want to study their B.Ed program in Distance mode can do so after clearing the Bihar B.Ed CET. For Distance B.Ed programs, aspiring candidates must be untrained service teachers or Elementary Education service teachers or, they must have finished the NCTE-acknowledged training program for teachers in person. But, if the candidate is not from Bihar, he will not be qualified for reservation privileges.

Bihar B.Ed CET is conducted once every year and the conducting body for the entrance exam is Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwaranagar, Darbhanga.
