CUET 2026 Performing Arts Syllabus is released. Based on the most recent CUET Performing Arts Syllabus 2026, the syllabus has been divided into four main sections . Section A covers Melodic Vocal and Instrumental Hindustani and Karnataka Music; Section B focuses on to Dance; Section C is aimed to Hindustani and Karnataka Percussion Music; and Section D is given to Drama/Theatre. CUET UG exam 2026 is scheduled to take place in May 2026 and will be conducted in a CBT format (computer-based test). The test will consist of multiple-choice questions and will be available in 13 languages.

CUET 2026 Performing Arts Exam Overview
NTA will conduct test papers in online mode. A total of 50 questions will be asked in the entrance test and Students will have to attempt only 40 questions out of them. Performing Arts domain consists of forms/variations that are presented to a audience. Students should also go through the CUET exam pattern that would be valuable for their preparation. The exam will consist of:
Section IA & Section IB as language tests.
Section II as domain-specific test (for example: Performing Arts, History, Archeology etc.)
Section III will be a General Test.
The Performing Arts exam will be divided into four sections: A, B, C and D, representing dance, drama-theatre, and music, respectively. Students can attempt any of the aforementioned parts. Sections A and C will be divided into sub-parts, with only one of them needing to be attempted.The entrance exam will be held at a number of exam centres both in India and outside the country.
