FMGE 2024 Application Form Correction: Dates, Direct Link, Process, Details to Edit

FMGE 2024 Application Correction window is expected to open in June 2024. The National Board of Examination (NBE) will release the FMGE 2024 Application Form in May 2024 (tentatively). While the application correction window is open, candidates will be able to make corrections to their application form. Some of the editable details that candidates will be able to correct while the FMGE 2024 Application Correction window is open include parents'/guardian's name, gender, and exam centre. Some of the non editable details are date of birth, email address, mobile number, and nationality. Once the FMGE 2024 Application Correction Window is closed, candidates cannot make any edits under any circumstances. The FMGE 2024 Exam June Session is scheduled to be held on July 6, 2024.

FMGE Screening Test is a national-level exam that enables aspiring foreign medical graduates to continue their post-graduation in India. As per the FMGE 2024 Eligibility Criteria, students can sit for the exam after their undergraduate degree, and certification from relevant authorities is required to appear for the FMGE exam and get admission in premier medical institutions around the country in courses such as MD/MS/PG Diploma/post-MBBS DNB/ NBE. FMGE 2024 Application Fee

The FMGE 2024 Application Fee is set by the National Board of Education (NBE). Candidates need to pay the application fee in online mode only. The fee is divided based on the category of the candidate. Here is the FMGE Application Fee 2024

Note:There is no provision to pay the FMGE application fee inoffline mode. That is why, students must have Debit/Credit/Online Banking facilities along with a stable internet connection. The application fee is nonrefundable under any circumstances.

The following is a list of all the information you cannot edit during the FMGE 2024 Application Form Correction Window. 

• Name of candidate

FMGE 2024 How to Make Corrections

The following is a step-wise format of how to make corrections in the submitted Application Form for the FMGE Exam 2024. 

• Go to the official website of the NBEMS. Click on the Application Form correction link.

• Begin the login process by entering your user ID and password. 

• Once the login is successfully over, the Application Form submitted by the candidate will appear on the screen. Make the changes as necessary by editing right then and there. 

• Check all the details in the FMGE Application Form and then verify it more than once to make sure no more discrepancies are there because after the editing window closes, you cannot edit the form anymore. 

• For the document edits, visit the online deficient document submission portal available at exam.natboard.edu.in/fmge.php 

• Click on the “Submit” button and wait for the edits to show up in the FMGE Admit Card. 

FMGE 2024: Important Instructions To Remember 

Here are the important instructions all the aspirants should keep in mind during the FMGE Exam 2024 Application Process

Edit Window

The following is a list of all the important instructions to remember when it comes to the FMGE 2024 edit window: 

• Edit Window: All those aspiring candidates who have successfully submitted the FMGE 2024 Application Form and also paid the application fee successfully during the Application Submission Window will be able to edit their application, if needed, during the period the edit window stays open. Note that the opening of the Edit Window does not mean that new FMGE 2024 Applications will be accepted. 

• All the fields that are allowed to be edited will be opened during the Edit Window for candidates to make corrections if any. The editable fields and the ones that cannot be edited have been listed below. 

• Information put in the application form can be corrected during the Edit Window. 

• Once the Edit Window gets closed, no candidate will be allowed to add any correction to their application form. 

• NBEMS will not be responsible for any crisis that may arise due to the incorrect information provided by any candidate. 

• NBEMS will also not modify/change/alter any information provided by the candidates at the time of the online application form fill up. No requests to the NBEMS to change the Nationality/Date of Birth/Category etc will be entertained. 

• After the Edit Window closes, the image correction window will be opened. Before that, the deficiency related to images will be communicated to the candidate. The specifications for the documents are mentioned below.

• All the candidates who fail to successfully submit the completed applications or fail to make corrections during the Edit Window will be declared ineligible for the FMGE 2024 exam. Such candidates will not receive their Admit Cards and their registration fees will be forfeited. 

• Note that it is better not to change pertinent information such as Mobile Number, Email Address, and so on till the end of the FMGE 2024 Selection Process. 

FMGE Images Upload 

The following are the images that need to be uploaded during the FMGE 2024 Application Form fillup. The table below will provide all the necessary specifications regarding the same, helpful for the candidates during the correction process if required. 

Other important instructions to be followed while uploading the required images are as follows:

Instructions for Passport Size Photograph 

• The photograph of the candidate must be passport-size and in colour. 

• The photograph has to be against a white background.

• The photograph must have the complete face, ears, nose, neck, and shoulders of the candidate visible. The face must be towards the camera. The candidate must not be smiling and the eyes must be open. 

• The photograph submitted cannot be a selfie under any circumstances.

• The photograph must be clicked in bright light so that there are no blurry areas. 

Instructions for Left Thumb Impression

• The thumb impression must be of the left hand. If that is not possible, the candidate can use a right thumb impression, but reasons have to be provided in that case. 

• The thumb impression must be done with a blue or black ink pad. 

• Candidates must have a clean and dry hand for a clear thumb impression. 

Instructions for Signature 

• The signature must be done by the candidate only on a white blank page. 

• The candidate's signature must be done in blue or black pen. 

• The signature should be done and photographed in bright light. It should not be blurry and there must not be any flash. 

• There must not be the shadow of any object falling on the signature.

FMGE 2024 Documents Upload 

The following is a list of all the documents that you will have to upload to successfully submit the FMGE Application Form. They are: 

• Proof of possessing Primary Medical Qualification 

• Eligibility Certificate/Admission Letter 

• Identity Proof of Citizenship 

• Certification from Indian Embassy as applicable 

Some other documents may also be required. These include: 

• Copy of address proof (Aadhar Card, PAN Card, etc.)

• Recent passport-size photographs

• Copy of date of birth proof (10th matriculation certificate)

• 10+2 passing certificate

• 10+2 passing mark sheet 

• Copy of internship done (if completed abroad)

• Copy of failed certificates (for ex-candidates)

• Equivalence certificate (for those who have completed their 10+2 abroad)

Eligibility Criteria for FMGE 2024

Before filling out the application form, the candidate has to make sure that they qualify for the FMGE 2024 Eligibility Criteria for the same. The following are the basic eligibility parameters to be fulfilled to apply for the Foreign Medical Graduate Exam 2024: 

• Candidates must have completed their MBBS or related degree in the medical sciences from a medical institution recognized by the Indian Embassy with due authorization of the same.

• Candidates need to be Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) who have received their final certificate and grade card in 2024. Documents justifying the same will have to be submitted in order to sit for FMGE 2024.

• Candidates who have secured their primary medical degree from Pakistan will need security clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in order to appear for the FMGE Screening Test.
