Application Process for UG courses through CUET

Applications for Gandhigram University UG courses (except B.Voc) were done through the NTA conducted CUET exam 2024. The last date of application was March 30, 2024. Below-mentioned is the step-by-step process the applicant went through for the UG courses applied via CUET:

Step 1: Applicants had to visit the official portal, www.cuet.samarth.ac.in, to fill out the CUET 2024 UG application form.

Step 2: At the first stage, candidates had to provide basic details such as name, mobile no., email ID, and contact information to register. These data generated candidates’ login credentials.

Step 3: With these login credentials candidates had to log in and fill up the CUET 2024 application form with all the required details eg. personal details, academic details, domain preference, exam city preference etc.

Step 4: In the next stage, they had to upload the scanned-sized photograph, signature, and category certificates in the defined size.

Step 5:  On the completion of the application form fill-up, candidates had to pay CUET 2024 application fees through credit card/debit card/ internet banking.

The CUET 2024 application is over. Candidates are advised to visit the portal to check the latest updates on admit cards.

Gandhigram University Admission Process 2024

No single admission procedure is followed for Gandhigram University 2024 Admission. Candidates are suggested to have adequate information related to the Gandhigram University Admission 2024 process. The course-wise admission process is described below:

UG Courses/5-year integrated/ B.Sc/B.Ed/B.Tech: Admission to UG programmes will be done according to the scores obtained in the CUET 2024 exam. If there will be seats available after admission through CUET, the university will select the candidates for those unfilled seats based on the following:

• + 2 marks in Part III subjects
• Reservation rules of Govt. of India

Diploma/ D.Voc./B.Voc Programmes: Admission to all these courses will be conducted through a counselling process. Candidates will be shortlisted depending on the scores of the higher secondary examination or its equivalent. It will be compulsory for the candidates to attend the counselling to confirm their seats.

PG/B.ED/PG Diploma: Candidates will be selected through the scores obtained in the Entrance test arranged by the university.

The university will allow the candidates for final admission depending on the document verification round. Candidates applying for the PG programmes need to provide a consolidated statement detailing the marks attained in the qualifying examination. The last date for submission of the marks for PG programmes is soon. If the candidates fail to do so, the provisional admission will be cancelled.

Gandhigram Rural Institute UG Selection Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply to Gandhigram Rural Institute must take the NTA's Common University Entrance Exam (CUET). The merit list, which will be prepared based on the CUET scores, will be used for selection. General Test will be held under CUET 2024 for courses such as BA, BCom, and MA Integrated courses. The candidates will be chosen on the basis of their merit.
