Kerala ITI admissions 2024 are conducted by the Industrial Training Department of Kerala. This year, applications are being accepted for admission to 74 trades in 104 ITIs, both government and private. Kerala ITI admission 2024 is open for admission to a variety of technical and non-technical ITI courses. Students who have completed class 10 (or 8, in some cases) under the 10+2 system in Kerala can apply for a variety of technical and non-technical ITI admissions. Interested candidates can apply for ITI Courses after 10th in India. Further, female candidates are eligible for 30% of the seats in all trades. Industrial Training Institute (ITI) are vocational training programmes designed to equip students with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in order to prepare them for particular trades. ITI courses focus on training students in several kinds of technical fields and are mainly career-oriented. Depending on the particular trade or subject of study, ITI courses can last anywhere from six months to two years.
The Kerala State Industrial Training Department will release the official notification for Kerala ITI 2024 admissions in June 2024. The registration process will commence soon after the official notification is released. Aspirants of Kerala ITI admission 2024 must note that the application form will be released online. Kerala ITI Admission 2024 Merit List
After the application process concludes, the Kerala State Industrial Training Department officials go through the application form of each applicant and prepare a merit list. The merit list is prepared to provide a rank to the applicants on the basis of their previous qualifying exam scores. Kerala ITI Admission 2024 Counselling Process
The counselling process for admission into various ITIs in the state of Kerala on the basis of the merit list is done online mode. Only those candidates who secure a place in the merit list are eligible for the Kerala ITI admission counselling process. During the counselling process, the documents submitted by the candidates are checked by the officials and on the basis of the qualifying exam scores and availability of seats in the ITIs chosen by the candidates, the allocation of seats in the candidates’ desired trades is done. Once the candidates are allocated seats, they have to contact their respective ITI colleges or institutions and complete the remaining admission formalities to confirm their admission. For candidates who fail to mark their presence during the counselling process, their allocated seats are cancelled and candidates are debarred from the subsequent counselling rounds.
