IIM Indore Interview Shortlist 2024:IIM Indore has released the shortlist for the Phase 1 Personal Interview rounds that will be conducted for admission to the PGP management course 2024-2026 batch. The Phase 2 Personal Interview Shortlist is expected to be released on January 25, 2024. Candidates who appeared for CAT 2023 and had selected IIM Indore as their preferred college for admission during the CAT application process can visit the official website for IIM Indore to check the Provisional PI shortlist status.
To seek admission to IIM Indore, candidates must have Completed Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, and 45% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates or completed a professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India) with the required percentage. Candidates who wish to be selected for the IIM Indore PI shortlist have to meet the overall as well as the sectional CAT cutoff criteria set by IIM Indore. The qualifying CAT cutoff for IIM Indore is 90 percentile. However, the final cutoff for admission is expected to be higher and fall in the 99-100 percentile range. How to Check IIM Indore PI Shortlist 2024 Status?

Aspirants who selected IIM Indore as their preferred institute for management admission during the CAT 2023 registration process must know how to check the IIM Indore shortlist status. Selected candidates will be able to check the PI shortlist status on the official website of IIM Indore once released. Thus, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below to check the IIM Indore Shortlist status:

• Candidates must first visit the official website for IIM Indore - iimidr.ac.in
• Candidates must then click on the ‘Programmes’ drop-down menu on the top side of the homepage and select the ‘Academic Programmes’ option. Candidates can also find the ‘Academic Programmes’ above the ‘News & Events’ section.
• On the next page, candidates must select the ‘Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)’ link among all the programmes.
• After a new menu appears under ‘Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP)’ on the left side of the page, click on the ‘PGP Indore 2024-26 Batch Admissions Details’ link.
• Candidates will find the ‘Provisional Short-list for the Personal Interview (PI): PGP and PGP-HRM 2024-26 Batch’ link on both the main page and also the menu on the left, click on either one.
• Subsequently, candidates will be redirected to the Login window where they must enter their CAT 2023 Registration Number and Registered Email ID or Date of Birth to proceed.
• After entering the required login credentials and clicking on the ‘Get Status’ button, the IIM Indore PI Shortlist 2024 status will be displayed.

IIM Indore PI Shortlist 2024: Key Changes

• No overall weightage has been assigned to the CAT 2023 score during shortlisting for PI.
• Different weightages will be given to all 3 sections in CAT 2023- VARC, DILR, and Quant during shortlisting. It will improve the chances of shortlisting candidates for the PI round. 
• 35% weightage has been assigned to the CAT 2023 score during shortlisting.
• For academic performance in classes 10 & 12, 59% weightage will be assigned during shortlisting for PI.
• 6% Weightage has been given to the Diversity factor.
• A maximum weightage of 50% is awarded to Personal Interview during generation of Final Merit List.
• There are less chances that the WAT Round will be conducted during the final selection round.

IIM Indore Final Selection Criteria 2024-26: Composite Score Components

The final selection of candidates for the PGP candidates will be evaluated on the basis of several factors. A composite score is calculated based on these factors and all the stages of the admission process that aspirants have been a part of during the selection process. It is also important to note that each factor that is considered during the calculation of the composite score has a different weightage and candidates must gauge their performance during the selection process accordingly. IIM Indore Shortlisting Criteria & Final Selection 2024

The IIM Indore selection process has several stages and aspirants must successfully complete every stage to be considered for admission to the flagship management program offered by the institute. Aspirants must be thoroughly familiar with the the IIM Indore selection process at all times to avoid any confusion and to ensure they perform at their level best in each stage. That being said, we have described each of the stages involved in the IIM Indore selection process below for aspirants:

Stage 1: Meeting the Eligibility Criteria

As we know, the selection process for IIM Indore along with all the other Indian Institutes of Management begins with the CAT exam. Therefore, candidates must meet the CAT eligibility criteria as the first step. Apart from meeting the eligibility criteria for CAT, candidates also have to meet the eligibility criteria for the PGP management program offered by IIM Indore and also the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile cutoffs set by the institute to be considered for the next round of the selection process. The eligibility criteria for CAT include:

• Completed Bachelor’s degree with the required percentage of marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates & 50% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates).
• Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India
• (FIAI)) with the required percentage (Same as Bachelor’s degree).
• Aspirants should be in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree.

Stage 2: Shortlist for Personal Interview

Only those candidates who meet the criteria set by IIM Indore for the first stage of the selection process will be considered for this stage. Sufficient number of candidates will be selected for the Personal Interview rounds from each of the categories and a merit list will be prepared. Candidates will be selected for this round of the selection process based on a combination of factors that will be used to calculate the composite score. The parameters for the composite score have been mentioned in the table below:
