1. Eligibility Check

Candidates must hold a recognized MD/MS/DNB degree or equivalent in the relevant speciality.

Only eligible postgraduate degree holders can apply for NEET SS 2025.

2. Online Registration

Apply on the NBE official website (nbe.edu.in), fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the exam fee.

Ensure accuracy in personal and qualification details.

3. Admit Card Release

NBE releases admit cards a few days before the exam on its portal.

Carry a printed admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center.

4. NEET SS Examination

Computer-Based Test (CBT) with 150 questions, total 600 marks; duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Each broad speciality paper corresponds to eligible super specialties.

5. Result Declaration

Results are published on the NBE website as a merit list showing marks, percentile, and speciality rank.

Qualifying cutoff: 50th percentile for all categories.

6. Counselling Registration

Qualified candidates register on the MCC (mcc.nic.in) website for centralized counseling.

Separate registration is required for each counselling round.

7. Choice Filling & Locking

Candidates select preferred courses and colleges based on merit and eligibility.

Choices once locked cannot be changed.

8. Seat Allotment

MCC conducts seat allocation based on NEET SS rank, preferences, and seat availability.

Results are released round-wise online.

9. Document Verification

Candidates must verify original documents at the allotted institutes.

Mandatory for admission confirmation.

10. Reporting & Admission

Report to the allotted college within the given deadline and complete admission formalities.

Non-reporting leads to seat forfeiture.

11. Upgradation (Optional)

Participate in subsequent counselling rounds for a better seat or course.

Available only if opted for during registration.
