However, it may up to three to four years to complete the programme.

How to Get Admission to Master of Management Studies?

The admissions process for Master of Management Studies (MMS) courses in India have been divided into three parts:

    • Entrance Exams,
    • Group Discussions (GD), and
    • Personal Interviews

The bifurcation has been designed to incorporate the requirements of management courses. Each part of the admissions process can only be attended by those students who have cleared the preceding round. This method of elimination of candidates makes the admission process of MMS in India highly competitive and selective.

The overall process of MMS course admission can be summarised as follows:

Step 1: Students need to fill out the application form for the entrance examination required by their chosen college for admission. They need to attempt the exam and wait for the declaration of the result.

Step 2: On declaration of the results, they need to compare their exam scores with the cut-off score required by their chosen colleges. If their score is equal to or higher than the cut-off, they can fill out the application form for the college.

Step 3: While filling out the application to the chosen college, students need to submit other documents as well apart from the entrance exam scores. These include bachelor’s degree and mark sheets, high school mark sheets, CV, and personal statements.

Step 4: Once the student receives a letter of invitation from the college to join the Group Discussion, they need to start preparing for the same.

Step 5: Attend the GD and await the decision of the panel. The selection panel observes and oversees the GD process and calls out the names of the students who manage to clear the process.

Step 6: Once their name has been called out, students need to immediately await their turn to attend the Personal Interview round.
Step 7: After attending the Personal Interview, students generally need to await a week or so before they receive their confirmation letter from the respective college.
