Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can register themselves for Counselling. The admission for M.Pharm in Maharashtra will be carried out on the basis of MHT CET and GPAT scores. Maharashtra M.Pharm Counselling 2023
Centralised Admission Process (CAP):- Candidates are accepted by the Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution through the CAP (CAP). The Government, Government Aided and University Department shall also admit the candidates through CAP.
Stage 1: Registration
The eligible candidates aspiring for admission on the basis of CET conducted by the Competent Authority of Maharashtra State should apply for Maharashtra M.Pharm Counselling. The steps to fill the registration form are mentioned below:-
Visit the official website of MAHCET i.e.www.mahacet.org
Fill up the Maharashtra M.Pharm Counselling Application form and upload valid scanned documents.
Before confirming any of the Facilitation Centres, the candidate may edit/update the information in his application form.
After submitting the application form the candidates can verify the data if required. Then they need to take a printout of the application form and sign it.
A list of the documents required to be produced by the candidate to substantiate his claim will be mentioned in the printed application form.

Stage 2: Provisional Merit List
The Competent Authority will publish the Provisional merit list or Final Merit Lists.
On the official website, the provisional list of merits will be displayed.
Candidates may submit their grievances within the specified grievance period set out by the Competent Authority.
No document shall be accepted after the scheduled dates
After that final merit of candidates will be displayed on the official website
Stage 3: Online Choice Filling
Display of Category Wise Seats:- Before filling the choice, the competent authority shall publish the complete information on the institutes, courses offered, intake and no. of seats available for each category.
Fill up your online choices in decreasing order in order to participate in CAP (Minimum 1 and maximum 300 choices).
Through the login, candidates can fill their online option.
For all candidates, it is mandatory to confirm the online option form through their login.
The candidate will not be able to change the options after the confirmation.
To avoid impersonation, applicants should not disclose their application ID & password to others.
Stage 4: Allotment & Reporting
The competent authority will release the allotment of respective CAP Round indicating allotted institute and Course. The candidates shall report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) and accept the seat offered by the competent authority. The candidate should report to the allocated institute only after reporting to ARC to seek admission to the allocated seat as per the final allotment in CAP rounds.
Stage 5: CAP Round 1
The Round-I seats will be published on the official website. The candidate whose names appear in the final CAP merit list is qualified to participate in this round.
In this round, if the seat is allocated to a candidate according to his first preference, that allotment shall be auto-frozen and the allotment thus made shall be accepted by the candidate. Such a candidate is not eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of the CAP. These candidates shall then report to the ARC for verification of document and the payment of the seat.
The candidates shall subsequently report to the allocated institute and shall apply for admission to the allocated seat. If such a candidate does not return to ARC for confirmation of seat by Competent Authority, his/her claim for the allotted seat shall automatically be revoked and the seat shall be made available for fresh allotment.
A candidate who has been allocated a seat other than their preference, and if the candidate is pleased with the allocation and does not wish to participate in more CAP rounds, the candidate may freeze their seat by login their account.
A candidate who has secured a seat other than their first reference and has not accepted a seat by not reporting to ARC is also qualified to participate in subsequent rounds.
Stage 6: CAP Round 2 (Started)
Qualified candidates for Round II can alter or change their choice for the previous round. During this round, the seat will be allocated to eligible candidates under the following factors:-
Once a candidate is allocated the upward preference, his earlier seat allotment would be cancelled immediately. If no such upward preference is given, his previous allotment stands will be preserved.
After Round 2, no further option for change is available to the candidate. The allotment rendered and/or allotment retained in round 2 is final.
Reporting to Institute:- The candidate shall report to the college eventually assigned to him and shall confirm his admission to the institution as per the schedule. The Institute shall immediately verify the necessary documents and upload candidates admissions into the online system through Institute Login and shall provide a system-generated receipt for the confirmation of admission.
