DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022: The Directorate Of Technical Education, Maharashtra State,has released the provisional allotment for CAP round III on September 17, 2022, on the official website of DTE Maharashtra poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in. The candidates can accept the offered seat through their login credentials as per the Allotment of CAP Round III from September 18 to 21, 2022. And, candidates can confirm their seats by reporting at the allotted colleges and getting their documents verified, and paying the required fees from September 18 to 22, 2022
Candidates got the option to submit and confirm their CAP Round 3 choice form online from September 13 to 15, 2022. Following that, the authorities has issued the DTE Maharashtra polytechnic provisional seat allotment for CAP Round 3 on September 17, 2022. The Maharashtra Polytechnic CAP Round 2 Seat Allotment was announced on September 6, 2022. Following this, online self-reporting to the individual institutes was available from September 7, 2022, to September 11, 2022.

Earlier, DTE Maharashtra released the DSD CAP Round 2 vacant seats on September 2, 2022, on the official website. The Directorate Of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai released the Round 1 seat allotment result on August 26, 2022. The DTE Maharashtra released the results of the Polytechnic cutoff list 2022 CAP round 1 on August 25, 2022. The final merit list was released on August 18, 2022. Earlier the provisional merit list was released for Maharashtra State/All India/J & K Migrant candidates on the official website poly22.dte.maharashtra.gov.in on August 13, 2022.
The application process of the DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Exam started on June 2, 2022, after the announcement of the official notification in online mode, and the last date to apply was extended to August 11, 2022. DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission process every year to provide admission to the candidates in the 3-year engineering diploma program. The eligible candidates are provided admission to the participating institutions based on their rank and availability of seats. The examination authority also releases the Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Matrix for various participating colleges. The seat matrix consists of seat availability and the number of intakes for various colleges.

The candidates must be aware of the complete eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission. UP Polytechnic test, similar to DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic, is based on UP Board Class 10 Syllabus. Candidates appearing for UPJEE can also go through the UP Board Class 10 Previous Year Question Papers. The candidate must have passed classes 8th, 9th, and 10th from a recognized institute.
The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 35% in the qualifying examination.
The place for passing the qualifying exam must come under the jurisdiction of one’s district area.
The candidates who don’t come under Type A but have parents having domicile of Maharashtra.
The place of issuing the domicile certificate must come under the jurisdiction of one’s district area.
The candidates who don’t come under Type A and Type B but the parents are posted in Maharashtra government job at the current time of filling the application form.
The place of issuing the government post must come under the jurisdiction of one’s district area.

The candidate must have passed class 8th, 9th, or 10th from an institute recognized and located under the Maharashtra border.
The candidate must be fluent in the Marathi language.
The candidates will be considered as an outsider from the Home district or for the state-level seats.
The candidates must be Indian nationals.
The candidate who has a domicile of Maharashtra and comes under the SC/ ST/ OBC or other monitory candidates will be considered under this category.

Maharashtra State Candidature Seats

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra prepares the merit list of candidates for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission. The merit list consists of the names of all the candidates who are eligible for the counselling process.

The merit list for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission is prepared on the basis of different factors such as:
Merit Number Assignment: The merit number will be assigned to all the candidates who have applied for admission which will consist of the number assigned on the basis of the eligibility of the respective candidates.
Change of Marks due to Verification: If there have been any modifications in the eligibility of the candidates, they must report it to the admission authority on or before the counselling process.
Method of Calculating Merit Marks: The following methods are used while calculating the merit marks for students on the basis of their eligibility:
The percentage of qualifying marks for the candidates will be calculated while rounding off the percentage to the nearest integer.
If the total marks for any qualifying subject are other than 100, then the marks will be converted out of 100 and the fraction obtained will be rounded off.
If the marks obtained in the HSC level of the candidate are in grades, then the candidate will have to submit the grade conversion by the respective board authority at the time of application.
If the candidate has appeared for a re-appear exam, then the marks obtained by the candidate in the latest exam will be considered.
Merit list for admission: The merit list for admission to various programs will be calculated on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination with all the subjects put together.
Tie-Breaking Rule for Merit List: In case of a tie between two candidates while preparing the merit list for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2020, the following factors will be considered:
Highest marks of the candidate at the HSC Level
Highest marks of the candidates at the HSC level for individual subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry)
Maharashtra Polytechnic Counselling Process 2022
As the merit list for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 is released, the qualifying candidates are called for the counselling process. The counselling for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 is conducted through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) in various rounds. The candidates who qualify for counselling will have to fill the counselling form and choose the option for the preferred institute through the official website.
Counselling for Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2022 is conducted in three rounds: round I, round II, and round III. Stage 1: Through stage 1, the seats will be allocated to all the candidates based on merit of the candidate.
Stage 2: Through stage 2, the seats will be allocated among the male and female candidates. The seats will be allocated to the male candidates if the seats remain vacant after allocating to the female candidates.
Stage 3: Through stage 3, the seats will be allocated to SBC candidates. The seats will be allocated if remained vacant after allocating them to OBC candidates.
Stage 4: Through stage 4, the seats will be allocated to religious groups of the OBC category.

Stage 6: Through stage 6, the seats will be allocated to all the candidates with physical disabilities.
