Private Law Colleges in Maharashtra Accepting MH CET Law Scores

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) for Law is conducted for admission to various leading law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. Conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, the exam is held for both 3 and 5-year LLB programmes. Apart from Maharashtra, MH CET Law is also conducted in the states of West Bengal, Jammu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and more.

MAH 5 Years LLB CET was conducted on October 11, 2020, while the date for MAH 3 Years LLB CET is November 2, 2020 and November 3, 2020. Admissions to all the MH CET Law 2020 participating institutes will be done by the competent authority. These institutes are affiliated to any of the available non-agricultural universities in the state and are approved and recognised by the Government of Maharashtra.

MH CET Law Counselling Process 2020

The MH CET Law counselling process will include the following steps:

  • Through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP), MH CET Law candidates can participate in the MH CET counselling process. CAP would comprise details related to seat distribution, facilities offered in these law colleges, NAAC and BCI status, fee structure and so on.

  • A merit-cum-provisional MH CET Law seat allotment list will be released by the conducting body on the basis of which candidates will have to seek admission to any of the above-mentioned colleges.

  • The final merit list of MH CET Law will be released for all the eligible candidates who will also receive an admission letter.

  • A process of document verification will be conducted at the counselling venue after which candidates will have to pay an admission fee to block their seat in the college.

It is mandatory for you to have some documents for the counselling process of AP LAWCET. Caste Certificate and Income Certificate come under the necessary documents for the counselling of the law entrance exam. In fact, if you have applied for admission under a reserved category, it is compulsory for you to show proof during the counselling. If you fail to do so, your candidature will be cancelled.
