Telangana MCA Admission 2023: Masters of Computer Applications is a postgraduate level course which is of a total duration of 2 years. The main aim of this course is to groom the software skills and strengthen the computer application aspect of students. The admission to the course is done on the basis of the TS ICET (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) exam. It is an entrance test which is conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission to the MCA program at various colleges in Telangana.

Telangana MCA Admission Eligibility 2023

Candidates must check well in advance whether they fulfil the eligibility criteria of TS ICET 2023.In order to get eligible for MCA admission in Telangana, the candidates will have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• The candidate must have passed graduation in BCA or an equivalent degree from a recognized board.

• The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 60%.

• The candidates who are in their final year of graduation or are awaiting results can also apply for admission.

Telangana MCA Counselling Registration 2023

The candidates who wish to get admission to the MCA program at Telangana and who have qualified for the entrance exam will have to register for the counselling session. The candidates will have to follow the given instructions on how to register for the counselling process of TS ICET 2023:

1. Visit the official website of TS ICET and click on the counselling registration link.

2. Initially, the candidates will have to pay the processing fee of Rs. 1200 for the General Category and Rs. 600 for SC/ ST Category. To pay the fee, the candidates will have to enter the Registration Number of TS ICET 2023/ TS ICET 2023 Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth. 

3. After the completion of the processing fee payment, the candidates will be required to book the slots for certificate verification. The candidates can choose the time and venue for the certificate verification process.

4. After verification of certificates, the candidates will receive the login ID using which they will have to login again. The candidates will have to regenerate the password using OTP verification. Login to the portal again.

5. The candidates will have to choose the options for preferred colleges. It is advisable for the candidates to choose as many options as they can to increase their chances of admission. 

6. After saving the options, download & save the form for future reference.

Telangana MCA Cutoff 2023

The admission authorities will release the cutoff for Telangana MCA admission after the exam is conducted. Based on the cutoff, the seats will be allotted to the candidates. The TS ICET cutoff refers to the minimum qualifying marks that the candidates need to obtain to get admission to a specific college. The cutoff will depend on various factors such as seat availability, the difficulty of the test, the performance of candidates in the exam, number of test-takers, reservation of seats, etc.

After each round of the counselling process, the seat allotment result will be declared. The candidates will have to accept the seat allotment, confirm the seat, download the seat allotment letter, pay the fee, and report to the respective institute. The TS ICET seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam plus the released cutoff. The candidates will have to download the seat allotment letter and bring it to the counselling process.
