TNDALU Application Process 2025
One of the most important steps for the TNDALU admission 2025 is the application process. Candidates need to carefully fill up the application form, which needs to be filled up only in online mode. Applicants need to submit separate application forms for each course offered in the School of Excellence in Law & Affiliated Law Colleges. However, those applying for BA LL.B(Hons.) and BBA LL.B (Hons.) can use the same application Form. Candidates will be selected purely based on the merit of their performance in the qualifying exam and as per the Rules of Reservation prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Those eligible to apply under the NRI Quota have to get the application form physically from the Law Admissions Office by submitting the required fee. The TNDALU 2025 application fee has to be paid through the Online Payment Gateway only.

Application Fee for NRI Quota
Under the NRI Quota, the candidates have to pay 200 USD by “Swift Account”. The application fee once paid will not be refunded. The law applicants can apply under NRI Quota if the father/ mother or both are NRI or if the candidate has no parent but the person/ guardian who has taken the candidate as a ward is an NRI. TNDALU Merit List 2025
The merit list for the TNDALU admission process 2025 is released after the completion of the application process. During the centralised admission process, the university will prepare the merit lists of all courses including BA LLB, BBA LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM. Candidates will be shortlisted for TNDALU admission based on their merit cum preference, the marks acquired in the qualifying examination. The students who have scored well in the qualifying examination will get the chance for admission to their desired college.
The TNDALU merit list will be released in the form of counselling cutoff marks. All candidates having a score more than the cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The TNDALU merit list carries the merit rank of the candidates which helps in selecting the deserving ones through the counselling process.

The cutoff for TNDALU admission 2025 will be generated for both the School of Excellence in Law and affiliated law colleges. A category-wise cut-off list is released by the university and only those who meet the cutoff will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The cutoffs are decided based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination. The university follows merit cum preference criteria while preparing the cutoff list. TNDALU Counselling Process 2025
The conducting body is likely to send an invitation letter for the counselling process of TNDALU. If in any case an individual meets the cutoff criteria and has not received the invitation, he/she can still sit for the counselling rounds. The counselling process for TNDALU admissions 2025 will be held separately for LLB (Hons.), LLM and PhD programmes. Around 5 rounds of counselling will be conducted for the integrated LLB (Hons.) courses while 3 rounds of counselling will be held for the LLB (Hons.) programme.
