Steps to Retrieve CLAT Password

CLAT 2020 is around the corner with less than two weeks left for the exam to be conducted. The admit card of CLAT 2020 has been released. After being postponed many times, the law entrance exam is finally going to be held on September 28, 2020. The application process of CLAT 2020 had ended on August 15, 2020. In such a case, many candidates may have forgotten their login ID or password since the application process closed long time back.

In this article, we have explained the process of recovering the CLAT 2020 password. The candidates who have applied for CLAT 2020 will have to download their admit cards by logging into their portal. What You Need to Recover Your CLAT 2020 Password

The things required to retrieve the CLAT 2020 password have been listed below. Without all of these things, you will not be able to recover your password of CLAT.

  • A laptop/ desktop or mobile phone (smartphone).
  • A good internet connection.
  • The mobile number which you have entered while registering for CLAT.

Steps to Recover CLAT 2020 Password

The candidates who have to retrieve the CLAT 2020 password can follow the steps given below to do so. Here is the step-by-step guide to recover your CLAT 2020 password.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the CLAT Consortium.

Step 2: On the home page, you will find the option for going to the CLAT 2020 page. Upon clicking on that link, you will be taken to a new page. The dialogue box on the home page will be as follows:

Step 3: Once you select the option "Click Here", a new page will open. The student log in portal will be available on this page.

Step 4: Click on the option titled "Forgot Password?" A new window will open on the screen after that.

Step 5: Enter the mobile number that you had entered while completing the registration process of CLAT 2020. Make sure that the number is working and active. You must have the phone with that number with you while recovering the password. After entering the number, click on "Request OTP".

Step 6: An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number. Once you receive the OTP, click on "Reset Password" which will then open another window.

Step 7: Enter the OTP and proceed to create a new password for your CLAT 2020 portal. After re-entering and confirming the new password, click "Change Password".

Your password will be changed successfully and you will also receive an email on your registered email address regarding the same.
