  • Visit the official website and register yourself for the very first time.
  • Now, using the login credentials received,  login on the official website once again and start filling the application form.
  • While filling the application form, you will need to provide certain documents that you have to ensure are legal and valid.
  • Once you have uploaded the documents in the required format, you must go through the entire application form and make changes if required.
  • After re-checking the application form, proceed with the payment of application fees.
  • The application fees can be paid using both online and offline mode. Candidates have to make sure the fees is paid before the due date as only then will their application form will be considered complete and will be accepted.
  • Do not forget to save a copy of the application, form, acknowledgement and application fee receipt.

Documents Required for CLAT 2025 Application Form

Below given is the list of documents needed to fill up the CLAT 2025 application form. 

  • A front-facing passport-size recent photograph of the applicant with a plain background.
  • The signature of the candidate.
  • Candidates applying under SC/ST/OBC quota need to show their category certificate.
  • A PwD candidate needs to present a relevant certificate issued by the competent authority. 
  • Candidates applying under the BPL category must present a relevant certificate issued by the concerned authority. 

Note:

  • There is no need of attesting the photograph and signature of the candidate while submitting the online application form. 
  • The documents or certificates required for CLAT 2025 application form must be uploaded in PDF format. 
  • The original documents or certificates issued by the competent authority have to be submitted to the allotted university in the prescribed form and manner as the respective universities have specified at the time of admission.

  • The photograph of the candidate must be front faced.
  • Caps, dark glasses and hats are not acceptable in the passport-size photograph.
  • Religious headwear is allowed but in a manner that does not cover the applicant’s face.
  • ‘Red-Eye’ on the photograph should be avoided.
  • The photograph of the candidate should not be black and white. Only coloured images are allowed in the form.
  • The photograph must be clicked with a clear and white background.

Guidelines to Upload Signature in CLAT 2025 Application Form

  • The signature of the applicant must be on white paper with a black ink pen.
  • The signature must not be in the block or capital letters.
