TNEA Application Form

TNEA 2023 -TNEA 3rd Seat Allotment 2023 has been released on August 25, 2023. Candidates are instructed to confirm the allotment by August 26, 2023, 5 PM. As part of the ongoing TNEA counselling process, the TNEA rank list 2023 featuring the ranks obtained by candidates was released on the official website - tneaonline.org. The online registration process for TNEA 2023 commenced on May 5, 2023, and was closed on June 4, 2023. The last day to upload documents online was June 9, 2023, and the TNEA random number 2023 was allocated on June 6, 2023.

TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) is a centralized counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Tamil Nadu for admission in B.E/ B.Tech courses offered in various government and private engineering colleges across the state. Tamil Nadu B.E/B. Tech aspirants must register for the admission process conducted by TNEA in order to be eligible for the counselling process. Steps to Fill TNEA Application Form 2023 

The step-by-step instructions to fill out the application form for TNEA could be checked below -

Step 1 - Registration

The first step in the registration process for TNEA is online registration. The candidates will have to visit the official website of TNEA, i.e., www.tneaonline.org to complete the registration. After opening the website, click on ‘New User Registration’.

Details to be Filled for New User Registration

The following details have to be filled in for the New User Registration -

Name of the Candidate (To be entered as per Class 10 Mark Sheet)

Class 12 Registration Number

Mobile Number

Year in which the candidate has passed Class 12

E-Mail ID

Login ID (Automatically Created) - The E-Mail ID of the Candidates will be the Login ID

Password (Self-Created)

Date of Birth

After submitting all the details, you will have to click on ‘Submit’.

Step 2 - Generation of OTP

After submitting all the details mentioned above, the candidates will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) via SMS on their mobile, and the candidates will also receive an e-mail. Only after entering the OTP, the details of the candidates will be confirmed.

Step 3 - Login & Form Filling

The candidates will have to log in on the TNEA website by using their Login ID (E-Mail) and Password. The registration form for TNEA will be displayed on the screen. The candidates will have to enter all the details carefully.

The candidates will have to fill in the following details in the TNEA application form -

Special Category Details

After filling in all the details above, you will have to click on ‘Save and Proceed’.

Step 4 - Application Fee Payment

The next step in the application process for TNEA is registration fee payment. After completing step 3, the candidates will see three options -

  1. Payment Gateway (IOB)
  2. Payment Gateway (Indian Bank)
  3. Payment Gateway (Option 3 - Skip)

Candidates choosing anyone among the first two options will have to pay the application fee digitally, u.e., by using a credit card/ debit card/ internet banking facility. Candidates choosing Option 3 will have to pay the registration fee at the Facilitation Centre. The candidates will receive a confirmation message after paying the registration fee.

Step 5 - Filling Scholarship Information

Candidates who wish to avail of various scholarship schemes through TNEA will have to fill his/ her preference. The candidates will have to fill the following details -

First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession (Yes/ No)

Availed First Graduate Tuition Fee Concession (Yes/ No)

AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme

Post Matric Scholarship - SC/ ST/ SCA/ Converted Christians (Yes/ No)

After filling in all the details, you will have to click on ‘Save and Proceed’.

Stage 6 - School of Study Information

The next stage in the application process is that the candidates need to fill in the information pertaining to the School of Study (Class 8th to 12th). The candidates will have to fill in the following details here -

Stage 7 - Filling Academic Information

In this stage, the candidates will have to fill in the academic information such as -

Name of the Board (HSC/ Any other board)

Group Code (Automatically Generated)

Marks Obtained in Class 12

After entering all the above details, click on ‘Save and Proceed’.

Stage 8 - Filling Additional Information

Here the candidates can fill in other details such as -

Center for Certificate Verification (TFC)

Preference for Choice Entry at TFC (Yes/ No)

Mother Tongue

Civil Native

Medium of Instruction

Civil School

Parent Occupation

Native District

You will have to click on ‘Save and Proceed’ after filling in the above details.

Stage 9 - Edit/ Save Application

As the candidates have already entered all the details in the application, they can edit the same if any changes are required. If all the information is correct, the candidates can click on ‘Submit Application'. The candidates will receive a confirmation pop-up. Click on ‘OK’.

Stage 10 - Printout of Application Form

Finally, the candidates can take the printout of the application form. The candidates must note that the printout of the application form should be submitted at the Facilitation Centre (TFC) along with all the relevant documents.

Thanks for contacting Collegedkeho Q & A portal. I want to inform you that  Sharda University does not offer any Diploma course for mechanical engineering. It only offers two Diploma courses: Diploma in Clinical Medical Practises from Allied Health Science and Pharmacy and a Diploma in Pharmacy from the Pharmacy sector. 

Though University also offers below mentioned courses in the Mechanical Engineering branch. Students who will enrol for the B.Tech course need to pay around 1.9 L per annum.
