With the management exams season ahead, it is time that students have an idea beforehand regarding how to prepare for GD. With so many advancements in the economy of India and various other fields, the article covers some topics that aspirants can prepare.

Group Discussion is a crucial part of the selection process for top B-schools. Preparation does not end once you are done with your management entrance exam. To succeed in the MBA in Admission Process, one has to go through the selection rounds of MBA colleges as well.

Be it the IIM Selection Criteria or for any other MBA college in India, a candidate has to go through WAT, GD and PI in order to secure a seat in a management course. The GD round is often considered to be quite tough as one not only has to compete but also has to work together in a group. Current Affairs: Be sure to read about any topic that is currently trending on the national and international stage. If an event has become a topic of hot discussion, it can make an appearance in the GD round of MBA admissions.

Business and Economy:​ Candidates must ensure that they are updated with the latest news and events related to businesses, economic policies, the impact of policy-related decisions on the national as well as the international scale.

Case Study based GD

Case Study based topics are based on a situation or a scenario. These situations are given to the group of students and they are required to provide solutions for that situation. Most of the case study based topics are related to management. For example, conversation or argument between the employer and an employee. These are mostly open discussions where all students have to share their way of solving the problem. The decision-making skills and analyzing skills are tested through this type of discussion.

Yes, you can apply for MBA admission at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara even if you have not appeared for CAT, MAT or any other entrance examination. However, you will have to appear for the University's own entrance examination (LPUNEST). It depends on the institute you are applying for. Some institutes may accept scores of top MBA entrance exam for admission to their Distance MBA course while others may conduct their own entrance exam.
