AILET OBC Category Expected Cutoff 2026

AILET OBC Category Cutoff 2026 will be released round-wise just like every year, and the scores will depend on seat availability, exam difficulty, and the overall performance of candidates. The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), conducted by National Law University Delhi, was held on December 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The exam authority will release the provisional answer key on December 15, 2025, followed by an objection window until December 18. Once everything is reviewed, results are expected between December 21-24, 2025, after which the counselling process begins.

The cutoff of AILET 2026 for the OBC category is very important to check, especially because NLU Delhi has very limited seats for BA LLB and LLM. Since AILET is conducted for 150 total marks, the competition feels intense, and even a small change in score impacts the AIR quite a lot. For OBC students, the expected cut-off marks this year are around 65+ for BA LLB, based on past year data and the rising competition.

Over the years, the AILET cut-off for OBC category has remained lower than the General category but still highly competitive. For example, AILET cut-off for general category usually ranges around 90-110 marks out of 150 for BA LLB, while OBC cutoffs may lie anywhere around 57-80+, depending on the counselling round. NLU Delhi publishes the AILET category-wise cutoffs after each round on its official portal, and these lists also include rankings for PwD-OBC candidates. The counselling process usually goes through three to four rounds for the BA LLB until all seats are filled.

Yes, candidates are allowed to use a pen and blank sheets of paper for rough work during the LPUNEST online proctored exam. The sheets must be completely blank before the test begins, and the proctor may request a webcam check of these sheets at any point. This ensures exam integrity while still giving students the flexibility to do necessary calculations.
