Haryana Polytechnic Admission 2023- Haryana State Technical Education Society or popularly known as HSTES will commence the registration process of Haryana Polytechnic 2023 from June 9, 2023. The last date to apply is July 17, 2023. The merit list is scheduled to be out on July 24, 2023. Haryana State Technical Education Society or popularly known as HSTES is in charge of conducting the Haryana Polytechnic admission 2023 for the candidates who are willing to take admission into the engineering and pharmacy courses across the polytechnic colleges in Haryana.
Haryana Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility
Candidates who reside in India along with Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizens of India(OCIs) are eligible to apply for the Haryana Polytechnic. The minimum age of an applying candidate must be 15 years. The eligibility criteria vary depending upon the subject.
Diploma Engineering: Candidates are required to clear the 10th grade or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 35% marks (33% for SC/SC and Kashmiri Migrants) in their qualifying examination. Candidates must have Mathematics and Science subjects in their 10th grade.
Diploma in Pharmacy: Candidates must have cleared the 12th grade or any equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as compulsory subjects. They should have scored at least 35% marks in their qualifying exam.
Diploma in Engineering Lateral entry course: Candidates are required to clear ITI (minimum 2 years duration ) after their 10th grade. They should have scored a minimum aggregate 35% score in their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their subjects. Candidates with NQSF level 4 will be eligible for different Diploma Engineering courses depending upon the compatibility of the courses.

Haryana Polytechnic 2023 Application Procedure
The online application process of Haryana Polytechnic 2023 will begin from June 9, 2023 continuing up to July 17, 2023. Interested applicants are required to fill the application form online at the official website of the HSTES. Candidates need to provide all necessary information about their details, qualifications, and contact information. They further need to upload their scanned photograph and pay the application fee via online mode. The registration fees are Rs 500 for general category candidates and Rs 200 for reserved category applicants.
Haryana Polytechnic 2023 Counselling
The counselling process takes place online comprising of 3 rounds. Candidates who qualify based on the rank of Haryana Polytechnic 2022 will be called for the counselling process. There will be two different lists for counselling; one for the categories of AIC, HOGC, KM, HGST, TFW, SC, BC-A, BC-B, PH, ESM, and FF with 25% horizontal female reservation and another for the categories of AIC, HOGC, KM, HGST, TFW, SC, BC (by merging BCA & BCB in BC), PH, ESM (by merging all priorities) and FF with 25% Horizontal Female reservation.
- Candidates are required to register for counselling on the official website and pay the counselling fee of Rs 500. Students need to provide their name, roll. Number and select the course of their choice
- The candidates will further move on to lock their seats in the colleges of their preferred language. It is advisable to fill maximum choices to increase the probability of selection. Depending upon the availability of seats, the counselling process would continue in various stages
- After the seat allotment result is officially declared, candidates will be required to report to the allotted college on the prescribed date and time. The documents required during the final verification round are 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, Transfer certificate, Migration certificate, caste/category certificate, Resident certificate, Allotment letter, Haryana DET 2022 admit card, rank card, etc.

Ranking system
The students who undergo verification and confirmation of the online form for final admission to diploma engineering are assigned ranks based on the following criteria.
The percentage of marks secured by the applicants in their SSC or any other equivalent exam forms the basis of establishing the rank. The marks scored by the candidates will be rounded off up to four decimals within the particular subject. The marks of a particular subject and the total score provided by a college/board will be evaluated to figure out the percentage of subject and combination marks. In case a mark sheet issued by a board is in a language except for English & Hindi, the candidate will be required to submit a copy of the transcript of the mark sheet issued by the concerned board in English or Hindi.
In case of a tie in the qualifying exam, the following rules will be applicable.
An applicant with a better score in Mathematics will be provided with a higher rank
If a tie persists, the applicant with better marks in Science will be provided with a higher rank
If a tie persists, the applicant with better marks in English will be provided with a higher rank
If a tie persists, the applicant older in age will be provided with a higher rank
If a tie persists, the applicant whose name comes first in alphabetical order will be provided with a better rank
If a tie persists, the applicant whose father’s name comes first in alphabetical order will be provided with a better rank
If a tie persists, the applicant whose mother’s name comes first in alphabetical order will be provided with a better rank
