The B.Arch admission process in the state of Haryana is administered by the Department of Technical Education, Haryana in the state. Admission into the B.Arch programme offered at various Architecture colleges in Haryana is done on the basis of the JEE Main Paper-II scores and NATA scores obtained by the applicants. Because the JEE Main Paper-II scores are available in percentile score format, the NATA scores of the applicants are also converted into percentile scores as per the data received from the Council of Architecture (CoA). Based on the JEE Main Paper-II percentile scores and NATA percentile scores of the applicants, the Haryana B.Arch admission officials release a merit list on its official website. Thereafter, the counselling process is conducted through which seats in the 5-year B.Arch programme are offered to the candidates in various B.Arch colleges in Haryana

Haryana B.Arch Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria for B.Arch admission in Haryana have been discussed below - 

  • Applicants must be at least 10+2 qualified from any recognised Board where they must have at least studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects OR

  • The applicants must have passed a Diploma examination in the 10+3 education format from any recognised Central or State Government institute with at least 50% aggregate and must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject OR

  • The applicants must have an International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10th where they must have compulsorily studied Mathematics and have qualified their qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% AND

  • The applicants must have a valid score in either of the JEE Main (Paper-II) exam or NATA exam

Haryana B.Arch Admission 2020 Merit List (Released)

The officiating body of the Haryana B.Arch admission process takes into account both the entrance exam scores and the previous qualifying exam scores for the purpose of preparing the merit list. The officials give equal weightage to the marks secured by the applicants in their respective qualifying exams and entrance exams, i.e JEE Main Paper-II and NATA scores. Candidates whose names are mentioned in the Haryana B.Arch admission merit list are the ones who get to take part in the Haryana B.Arch admission counselling process and seat allocation process. Such candidates have to register themselves for the counselling process. The merit list is released on the official website of DTE Haryana. 

Haryana B.Arch Admission 2020 Tie-Breaker Policy

The Haryana B.Arch admission tie-breaker policy has been explained below - 

  1. Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics are given the higher rank

  2. In case the tie still persists, candidates with higher marks in English are given the higher rank

  3. In case the tie still persists, older candidates are given the higher rank

Haryana B.Arch Admission 2020 Counselling Process

The counselling process for B.Arch admission in Haryana is divided into two phases - 1st round and 2nd round counselling. After the conclusion of the second round of the counselling process, no online counselling is conducted and only institute level counselling process is conducted in which all the subcategories are merged. Thereafter, the vacant seats are filled on the basis of merit of entrance examination followed by the qualifying exam scores. The detailed Haryana B.Arch admission counselling process has been discussed below - 




Step 1


The candidates have to click in the given link - Direct registration link for counselling to go to the official website and click on the “New Registration” link.  Here the candidates have to provide details like date of birth, the application number, roll number etc and click on the “Submit” button. Thereafter, the candidates will be redirected to a new page where all their entered registration details will appear. Once satisfied with the entered details, the candidates have to click on the “Registration Confirmation” tab to complete the registration process. After successfully registering for the admission process, the candidates will receive their User ID and password. 

Step 2

Choice Filling Process

The candidates again have to click on the given link - Direct Link to Apply with the help of the User ID and password and start providing their choices. The list of institutions will be available along with the number of vacant seats in the B.Arch programme. The candidates have to provide their choices in decreasing order of priority. Once the candidates are fully satisfied with their choices, they can proceed to click on the “Lock Choices” option to submit their choices. The candidates can alter their choices and their priority orders as many times as they like before the final date of Choice Locking. 

Step 3

Wait for the Declaration of Seat Allotment Result

The candidates have to wait until the seat allotment list is released on the official website. Once the seat allotment result is released and the candidates find the name of those institutions where they have been allocated seats, they have to follow the procedure given in the following section for admission.

  2. Enter your roll number and password and click on the tab - Provisional Seat Allotment Result

  3. Check for the allocated seats and the provisional seat allotment letter

  4. Download the provisional seat allotment letter and report online at the institute where you have been allocated a seat within the given time period

  5. Deposit the tuition/admission fee in online mode (INR 10,000/-) and the application and counselling fee (if not paid)

  6. Upload all your important documents and certificates for verification


  • The candidates can also apply for upgradation of seats for which they have to appear in the second round of the online counselling process

  • If any candidate gets a new seat, his/her previous allocation will be automatically cancelled (as per the undertaking checkbox the candidates have to click while applying for upgradation of seats)

  • The candidates can also pull out of the seat upgradation process within the given time limit by deleting all the choices entered by them while applying for the second round of counselling. In such a scenario, the seat allocated to the candidates previously will remain intact
