AP POLYCET 2022- Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test Results (AP POLYCET) has been declared by the SBTET, Andhra Pradesh on June 18, 2022. After the declaration of the AP POLYCET 2022 result, candidates will be entitled to AP POLYCET 2022 counseling. Candidates who will be able to crack the AP POLYCET 2022 entrance exam will be qualified for the seat allotment and counselling process. AP Polytechnic Admission Process 2022

In order to take admitted through AP POLYCET 2022, candidates have to follow a few ways. These methods include- 75% of the seats reserved for the candidates who are able to score good ranks in AP POLYCET 2022. On the other hand, 25% of the seats are reserved for the candidates who are not able to score a good rank in AP POLYCET 2022. 

75% Seats for State Domicile Students

Candidates who are residents of Andhra Pradesh for more than 10 years are eligible and reserved with 75% of seats in the government colleges and universities for polytechnic courses. This domicile rule will be applicable to the government based colleges and universities. This process will not be applicable to private based universities.

25% for Management Quota

The top universities of Andhra Pradesh also provide admission through management quota. Candidates will be able to take admitted to their respective colleges and courses without appearing in any entrance exam. However, it is to be noted that the candidates who are admitted through the management quota will have to pay a management fee every year along with the annual fee.

Candidates in order to get admission into the colleges without  AP POLYCET 2022 ranks can choose alternatives. These alternatives include participating in spot round counseling or third round counseling and visiting any private polytechnic college directly for admission.

Spot round counseling

 The exam authorities might conduct spot round counsellling or it can be also referred to as the third round of counseling. This process is conducted if seats remain vacant after the conclusion of the second round of counselling. Selective candidates will be eligible for attending the spot round counseling for AP POLYCET 2022. This eligibility includes:

• Candidates who have qualified for AP POLYCET 2022 but have not joined any institute
• Candidates who have qualified for AP POLYCET 2022 but have not qualified for any documentary verification process
• Candidates who have not qualified the passing marks for AP POLYCET 2022

Note: Candidates getting admission through spot round counselling will not be eligible for free reimbursement.

How to Get Admission in Telangana with AP POLYCET 2022 Rank

Candidates who are interested in securing admission to the institutes of Telangana through AP POLYCET 2022 cannot approach any government aided university or institute for admission. Therefore, candidates can take admission into the private institutes of Telangana through the marks and rank secured through the AP POLYCET 2022 entrance exam. The admissions in these private colleges will be conducted through the management quota. Since the seats by the management quota are always in great demand, Candidates will have to secure their seats as soon as possible else the seats will be booked by some other candidates. The availability of these seats is very limited, therefore the admission is done on the basis of first come first serve.
