Are you child of a non-L&T group allowed in LTIT now? Also, what, if any relatives working in the L&T group?

Dear Student,

For the 2026-27 academic session, L&T Institute of Technology remains primarily dedicated to the children of permanent L&T Group employees; however, admissions are occasionally opened to non-L&T candidates on a highly selective, merit-based basis if vacancies exist after the employee quota is filled.

If you have a relative working in the L&T Group, it generally does not qualify you for the subsidized "employee ward" status, as those benefits (including the LTET scholarship) are strictly reserved for the sons and daughters of staff. While having a relative might serve as a positive reference during the interview process, you would still be processed as a general candidate and would be required to meet the high cut-off marks in Mathematics and Science from your 10th-standard exams.

Thank You
