IIM Bodh Gaya is one of the newly constructed among the list of IIMs in India that is offering admission to the PGP (MBA) 2025-27 batch. • Work Experience Certificate/Documents
  • For Previous Employment: Collect all experience certificates issued by previous employers. The experience certificates should be printed on the official letterheads of the respective companies, stamped, and signed by an authorized representative.
  • For Current Employment: You will need a service certificate issued on the company letterhead, complete with the required seal and signature from the competent authority. If the service certificate is not available, you can attach the offer or joining letter, along with the first-month payslip and two months' previous payslips.
  • For Business Owners or Partners: Attach a proof of your ownership or partnership, such as:
    • Income tax returns for the years under consideration.
    • Issuances of business registration certificates by local authorities or MSME certificates given by the Government of India
    • Udyog Aadhar Registration Certificate
    • Agreement of a partnership signed among all partners.
    • GST registration certificates
  • For Unorganized Sector Jobs: Provide documentation of the wages and also firm registration where the documents to be submitted will include:
    • Cash Voucher or a bank statement
    • Experience certificate
    • GST registration certificate of the firm

Stage 1 - IIM Bodh Gaya PA Shortlisting Criteria 2025

Candidates who apply for MBA admission 2025 into IIM Bodh Gaya will be first shortlisted for the WAT & PI process based on their CAT scores. In order to get a call for an interview at IIM Bodh Gaya, candidates are required to satisfy IIM Bodh Gaya selection criteria 2025 and the minimum CAT Cut Off criteria specified by the institute.

IIM Bodh Gaya Number of Shortlisted Candidates 2025

The number of candidates shortlisted for the WAT and PI rounds is decided by the Admission Committee of IIM Bodh Gaya. A category-wise list of shortlisted candidates is prepared by the committee. If the number of candidates shortlisted as per the criteria set by the institute is found to be more or less than required, the institute adjusts the criteria accordingly to reach the desired number.

Stage 2 - IIM Bodh Gaya Personal Appearance (PA) Process 2025

All of the 9 new IIMs conduct a common personal appearance process for admission. This is called the Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025. Given below is the list of IIMs that are participating in CAP 2025.

Students who apply for admission into any of these 9 IIMs will have to go through CAP 2025. 2. Personal Appearance - PI (20% Weightage)

Weightage of Academic Profile at IIM Bodh Gaya 2025

In the academic profile section, IIM Bodh Gaya takes a look at your performance in Class 12th, Class 10th, and Graduation and scores you accordingly. Only students who have more than 60% marks are scored in this section.

If 'x'% are the marks of a candidate, the following formula is used to calculate the academic profile score of a candidate in IIM Bodh Gaya admissions.

• For example, for a candidate who has scored 70%, the academic profile score would be (70-60)/10 = 1.

• The academic profile score varies from 0 to 4 for each class.

• All candidates with less than 60% marks get a 0 score.

• The academic profile scores are then added to find out the weightage.

Hence, the total weightage earned by the candidate will be 3% (out of 12%).

Weightage of Work Experience at IIM Bodh Gaya 2025

Work experience holds 12% weightage in admissions at IIM Bodh Gaya. Candidates are provided with a score as per their work experience given in the table below.

Completed months are considered when awarding scores based on work experience. The score is interpolated for candidates having work experience in between the numbers provided above.

Weightage of Diversity at IIM Bodh Gaya 2025

6% weightage is reserved as the diversity factor in IIM Bodh Gaya selection criteria 2025. These are further divided into diversity based on Gender and Diversity based on academic disciplines. The distribution is as follows.

IIM Bodh Gaya Final Admission 2025

IIM Bodh Gaya declares the final Merit List of candidates invited to be admitted into the institute. Following are the steps to finalize admission and accept the offer at IIM Bodh Gaya.

• Register for the expression of interest.
• IIM Bodh Gaya sends an offer of admission based on merit to registered candidates.
• Submit the Offer Acceptance.
• Submit the Offer Acceptance amount of Rs. 50,000. This is adjusted in the course fee.
• If a candidate wishes to withdraw after submitting their acceptance, they have the following options:
  • Withdrawing Before Deadline: Offer Acceptance Amount is refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000.
  • Withdrawing After Deadline: No refund will be provided.
  • Withdrawing After Course Registration: No refund of the Offer Acceptance Amount or Course Fee is provided.

IIM Bodh Gaya will send the offer letters and accept candidates as per the availability of vacant seats in the course. Only the candidates who have registered for expression of interest will be considered for admission. Any seats lying vacant after exhaustion of the merit list will be transferred to candidates on the Wait List as per merit basis.
